ME Bank Home Loan Refinance $3000 Cashback (Min $250000, Max LVR 80%), Fixed Rates from 2.29% 2-Year, Variable Offset from 2.03%

ME Bank raised their fixed rates effectively on 15th Dec 2021. Most major banks offer 2 years fixed from 2.59%. ME Bank may increase its fixed rates anytime soon and we advise to apply for a rate lock for a fee of $500.

Uncapped $3,000 cash back offer is available per application so long as eligibility is met on each application and each application has a separate security property. Conditions are:

  • Switch their existing home loan from another lender
  • Apply by 28/02/22 and settle by 31/05/2022
  • Take out a home loan with a minimum size of $250k and a maximum LVR of 80%

    Just an advise guys, stay clear of me bank.. transfer within internal account goes missing and sits in their suspense account untill you chase it.

  • ME Bank is the dodgiest provider I've dealt with in the financial space

  • I’m in process of refinancing home and investment property to me bank. Through mortgage broker. Took just over 2 months from meeting with mortgage broker to unofficial approval. Several rate rises along the way.

    Definitely recommend rate lock.

    Delays because me bank kept requesting more documents. Mortgage broker could have helped more by asking supply these essential documents and then you might like to supply these potential documents.
    Other delay is property valuer was quick to value owner house, but couldn’t arrange with property manager valuation of investment property.
    Still better experience with me bank than ubank

  • Does this offer come with the feature where the bank is allowed to help themselves to your redraw money?

  • I didn't have a good experience with Me bank through a broker. Took about two months looking at the application. For some reason they had two valuations done on each property (internal stuff up I think). Then they declined us on something they should have picked up from the start.
