PJAN20PJAN22

Significant savings from the previous deal post.

This is an obsolete or outgoing model and there's

  • No fast charging standard, just regular ol' 5volt 2amp output
  • It charges at 2.5amp
  • It has no USB-type C cable.

It'll still be suitable as an emergency backup power supply or for slow charge of certain devices like Oculus Quest or a portable game console as you play.

Nice description. Really helps set expectations.

    • Yeah +1. Thank you OP for making it clear

Really helps tech illiterate (myself) to understand because each Powerbank listing (like this one) specifies it does fast charging but really the 'fast charge' in one listing can vary greatly from the other..

  • Fast charging is relative. 2.5A will charge the average phone in a bit over an hour. It's faster than "normal" (5v 1A), just not the fastest out there.

    • +3

      It's a 2.1A output. My S20FE from about 50% estimates 1 hour 15 minutes to full.

  • Can anyone comment on the brand quality?

    • Have a look at the previous deal post

  • How many times will it charge a phone per charge of the device

    • +2

Highly dependent on the phone's battery. Look up how many mAh your phone battery has, and divide 10000 or 15000 by that number. Then subtract 1 charge and that's what you can expect.

    • +3

Did you know that popular phones' battery sizes varies significantly from like 1800mah to 6000mah?

If you wanted a generalisation I'd say that these power banks would charge your phone at least 1-2 times.

  • 333g & 235g weight
(also wow that 10000mah one is ugly!)

    Great price though

The 15000 model doesn't show up anymore, only the 10000 in stock now - but I grabbed it for overnight hikes/camping. Thanks Scrimshaw!
