  • Any deals on Argus 3 pro with solar panel?

  • This Reolink or Swann SWNVK-879808-AU set (NVR8-8580 with 8x NHD-875ER POE cameras) recently sold by Costco?

Reolink. I've dealt with Swann systems before and the ecosystem and quality is pretty sub par for a company thats been building these for ages. You just have look how many camera apps they have in the google play store to know they dont bother to support older apps/cameras and that they so bad (very poor review ratings) they create new ones. They're latest app looks better but no where near as polished as Reolink's.

Have owned multiple various Reolink cameras models for 4 years now (POE, Wifi, pan/tilt and Lumus) and been working pretty much flawlessly. Had an issue with their app once which was fixed in the next update (didnt stop me using it, just a feature that didnt work 100% of the time). One camera had an issue with the speaker and was replaced with a newer model in a few days. Customer service has always been top notch. My brother now has it at his house, another brother looking to install a system and im just waiting for the NVR (aftermarket, was originally a Swann but that died after 18 months) or Swann cameras (one was DOA) to completely die at my parents house before I replace it with a Reolink. Probably a hand me down from me when i do eventually replace with a newer 4k version.

Im just waiting for the day they finally build a door bell camera.

Any upcoming deals with reolink rlc-822a systems

    • Hi, we don't have a RLC-822A system. You need to buy 822a and a nvr to make it a system.

      • Sorry, any deals coming with the 822a cameras ?

        • Hi, unfortunately, we don't have any discounts on it. I recommend you 12% off RLC-812A and 8% off RLC-811A

  • We have their 1080p camera, 2x Argus Pro wireless and 1x Lumus model. Video quality is bad, much worse than our dashcam with the same 1080p resolution.

Can you see license plate details with these 4K models? How is the night vision?

    • I don't think these are 1080p

  • Hi OP - any chance you can do a deal for RLK16-810B8-A? Would be more interested in the 4k and vehicle/person detection system around the $1k mark as per previous deals

    • Maybe in March we will do RLK16-810B8-A

      • Ok thanks will wait out for that one.

  • Deal on E1 Pro?

  • Hi, any special deal for fellow ozbargainer for the person and vehicle detection models? the 510-520 A series kits?

    • Hi, RLC-510A is 8% off now, here is an extra 5% off coupon: insalicia

  • Can these cams be used stand alone or is the NVR required?

    • NVR is required

  • I've been in the market for a cctv for almost over a month and it's a tough gig. All installers will only offer dahua and some offer hikvision who call out dahua on their quality. Well mine is a double storey with no wiring which means harder to get cameras everywhere.

It's a broad spectrum. Wired or Wireless

Can I ask your Top choice in wireless and top choice in wired. Keeping budget and quality in equilibrium.

Thanks for your advises in advance.

    • Same situation, for now I'm leaning towards Eufy 2c Pro or 2 Pro pack.

  • Any deals on rlc-823a

  • Just installed my Reolink RLK8-820D4-A system last weekend from another deal earlier; also plugged in an additional 5MP camera op recommended for internal use. Ran LAN cables through my roof to the eaves. Very happy with quality and ease of set up once I plugged in, just worked. App was easy to set up and you can do all the settings on the app too.

Never tried any other brands but would recommend reolink from my experience.
