  • I bought this from Samsung and set a delivery date 10th Feb. they sent it to the courier straight away and now are attempting to deliver it on Monday. Have rang them several times. Customer service is really bad! I don’t even live in the property yet where it’s getting delivered.

    On another note, has anyone looked into soundbars for this? Are they necessary? I guess it takes away from the “frame” look…curious if I should try and obtain one as I think there’s a few deals on at the moment. But I think the sound bar is not as wide as the 75” tv is so it will look smaller underneath it if mounted on the wall.

  • Noticed Samsung have the HW-S61A 5.0ch S-Series Soundbar (2021) for $284 delivered. Would this be good to pair with The Frame 75”?

  • For those in Melbourne who ordered the 75" direct from Samsung, has your delivery been delayed? I ordered on the 20th of Jan and delivery with ANC was scheduled for Feb 2. But now it's been delayed to Feb 10th. Quite disappointing and quite a long wait for something that was in stock.

  • I had the opposite problem, I asked for delivery after the 10th of Feb and they put it on a truck and tried to deliver it yesterday, in Sydney…

  • I have access to Samsung EPP but the website is saying the 75" model is $3499. JB Hifi link provided here saying out of stock. Has the offer expired or am I missing something?

    • Yeah the deal is over, I accessed samsung student store and the TV is over $3000, whereas 3 days ago on Monday I got jb to price match the Samsung student store it was $1984, came with free next day delivery from JB aswell! unlucky what a huge price increase now

  • Mine got delivered yesterday. It's enormous!
    Just figuring out some settings to make it look better for me atm.

    The speakers are absolute garbage and it turns out there's no 3.5mm jack (I used my old Harmon Kardon soundsticks with my old tv).

    Now I need to investigate sound solutions :(

      I'm going for a whole new setup. Probably a Yamaha RX-V6A and Q Acoustic 3030i speakers (+matching centre) and a sub I already have.

      I'm happy with the picture, but watching for example, Ozark on Netflix I get some real weird banding in the opening credits and in the top and bottom (mostly) black bars. Bad enough that I'm going to talk to someone at JB on the weekend.

      • You're not the only one experiencing this issue beerbudget. Similar issues with the 2020 models apparently.

            @beerbudget: Not sure about it being common but I would definitely raise it with Samsung and JB about it and possibly seek a replacement for it. You have every right to do so.

              @LarryD: So I took some photos and went to JB. The guy was good and said he'd speak directly to Samsung. Got back a few hours later and Samsung said that, yeah, probably a faulty panel but I'd have to call customer service. An hour later the problem seems to be fixed, had to update to the latest software, which the TV wasn't picking up so had to do it via sd card.

              Will see how it goes.

    • Try use optical cable for connecting TV with soundbar or external speakers. Optical cable can support high resolution sound output with minimum lag.
      eARC via HDMI would be a good connection with sound systems too.
      Bluetooth may have some lags or sync issue.

  • Looking forward to getting mine. Due next week but highly unlikely to see it anytime soon.

  • Ordered last Friday, received SMS Monday, ask to reschedule delivery to one of three days available: 14 - 16 Feb.
    For those that's still waiting did you get multiple reschedule SMS, or nothing?

    • My experience so far:

      Placed order with Samsung on the 20/Jan and chose 27/Jan as delivery date.
      On 24/Jan got a text saying the selected date was unavailable. Rescheduled to 2/Feb.
      On 1/Feb got a call saying it would be rescheduled to 10/Feb. Hopefully it shows up…

      Delivery company are saying they haven't received stock from Samsung, but if you call Samsung they say it has been handed over.
      There's a few reviews of ANC+Samsung of people with similar experience.

      Bit of a mess.

  • Customer service are hopeless. Keep saying it's been prioritised. It's 5 weeks now since it's was ordered.

  • Boo. Rescheduled twice now. Latest one was mean't to come tomorrow, but now further delayed as waiting for stock in VIC.

    Any other VIC people having multiple delays (Bought via Samsung store)?

      Assuming that's with ANC? Another reschedule was what I expected would happen to me come Thursday. I've just called Samsung and requested they change my order to a different courier company. They say it's been done, but who knows.

      For those having issues. From what I now understand, Samsung uses a company called DB Schenker who then hand over to ANC. I was able to get a DB Schenker reference number from Samsung and I'm trying to sort things out through them. Will advise if I have any luck.

        • Not much luck in the end with DB Schenker. However they did tell me the tv is in the warehouse. The issue definitely seems to be on the ANC side.

      Sorry to hear that. Mine was supposed to be delivered today, but was cancelled on the 8th and no new date provided.

      I spoke to a ‘supervisor’ in the Samsung call centre who seemed to have a better awareness of the delays. He said that orders placed over a particular 2 week period are the most impacted. He said that ANC have told Samsung they are aiming to clear the backlog by the 14th of Feb and are doing suburb by suburb deliveries. He also said that he can actually see them getting through the backlog.

      Also the ANC message that the items have not been received are contradicted by what I’ve been told by Samsung.

      At this point I’m just expecting the tv to show up on a random date without notice.

      • Ordered 26th Dec still nothing. This will be the last purchase from sansung. Prefer to pay more and get it sooner

  • Going around in circles with this.

    Scheduled delivery for 31st Jan, wasn't available. Picked new date (8th Feb) and got a text on the 7th saying it wouldn't be delivered and "someone would be in touch." Have heard nothing since.
    Samsung customer care was useless, dropped my call twice and then opted for chat. They said to call ANC. ANC Sydney have a number that tells you to call their 1300 number and when you get through to them they give you the ANC Sydney number again.

    I just want a delivery date!!

        Just received an SMS saying the delivery will not be coming next week as they are waiting on the confirmation of freight.
        "We will contact you with a new delivery date." Who knows when :(

  • Just got an email from JB saying that my item has been "deteled" and order has been cancelled. Anyone else recevie this message?

  • Bought one via this deal and wow what a poo picture. The back light bleed and blotchy blacks is absolutely terrible and even worse than my 2 year old Hisense. Anyone else feeling regret?

    • Gaming actually looked better, and pretty much anything is better than my 5 year old Bauhn, but Agee on the bleed, pretty obvious on hd tv channels and animated movies, would have expected it to be crisper.

    • Samsung agent came out and notes a stuck green pixel and below average backlight bleed especially in bottom corners. This unit was faulty from day one and reported 1 week after receiving delivery and 1 day after mounting to the wall. Despite agent reporting it needs a new panel, Samsung are now demanding it gets fixed based on the repair being and I quote 'quickly and easily fixed" and will not issue a replacement or refund. I purchased direct from Samsung Portal and strongly recommend to buy from a retailer as at least you can leverage off their good will! I spoke to Consumer afairs who said if they deem it 'quick and easy' to fix, then I'm basically stuffed.

      This TV really has crap contrast and the backlight bleed and cloudiness if horrible. Hopefully I will save at least one person the grief from buying this pile of poo in terms of both the picture quality and how bad Samsung are at backing their product
