Looks good! Any idea if this is improved on the red older version?

Save your money. Had no luck with GOOLOO starting cars, but good enough as a bulky power bank.

Mine worked really well. Lost count how many times I started my car with it, I was having issues with my car. At some point I was using it as my only power source to start the car without a battery. Maybe you had a version that shouldn't have gotten past quality control?

What unit did you get and what car? I've started more than a dozen different 4wd's, cars and even my John Deere. It started my high compression carby 355 stroker when it was sitting on 9v which is a good effort.

worked for me twice…on a completely drained battery, just need to remember to press the "boost" button which is hard to see at night

Nup. Not big enough for me, only goes up to 9.0 Litre car (Gasoline).

  • It’s showing as $60.12 aud in the app for me with free shipping?
Edit: Never mind, I can add to cart but says it won’t deliver to my region.

  • Note that this is micro usb input and lower wattage charging so seems like a backwards step from the previous one

    • Good to know, thanks

      • Wrong information.

      I see usb c on spec list 9V @ 2A.

    • +1

It says it is type C input in one of the photos. How do you know it is micro usb input?

      • That's where I saw it too, but there are definately mistakes in there, so who knows till you see/test one.

  • This is not the updated version sold on Amazon

Looks like a new model called GP Warrior but not sure if it is a replacement for the usual red GP2000 we have seen before (https://us.gooloo.com/collections/frontpage).

Product page does seem to confirm it is micro USB (https://us.gooloo.com/products/gp-warrior).

Under the item description one of the photos says type c input, but it says micro usb from your link. I don't know who is right.

      • +1

From one of the photos from second link I can see it's a micro usb port and input only @ 5V / 2A max

(old model was 5V / 3A), and says included is a micro usb cable. Although this new model has larger capacity and thinner,

they are losing the USB C PD input/output feature. Seems like a tricky product placement/marketting trick to me as cost

saving would be lucky to save them $2 in China if that.

IMO, this is better, standby time is more than 2 years, the red one is only 3-6 month. Actually I don't mind if it is type c or micro usb input, It may only need to be recharged every six months or more. If it hasn't got type c input I may get $10 or more refund, I paid with Paypal.

          • @jimojr: I missed that 2yr stand by-time, that;s a good plus. I also don't mind micro usb but they could have at least mase it

QC3 & PD for one of the usb A outputs for say 18W-20W as that would also not cost more than a few $ extra.

When I need another jump pack for car will just get the Gooloo G4000 when on sale, or this one if lighter/smaller

and up to 2yrs stand-by will make the cells last longer. Just depens on which vehicle I have then lol.

          • @jimojr: Just wondering where it says that this has up to 2 yrs stand by time?

Have you seen the new GT3000 & GT4000 models with nice big readout displays and USB C PD 100W in/out ?
