          • @yanyan1: are they any good? are these the ones made in germany?

I thought series 6 and up were made in germany only?

            • @bigballerbrand: These are the series 2 which made in Turkey. The German made ones have the best reputation in dishwashers if you can afford to spend more. There's more plastic in the Turkish Bosch models they're not as hardy as the German made ones.

If you're looking for a more affordable option like the ones above, the Bosch only have a 2 year warranty, but that seems to be the standard these days. Essato and Artusi currently have 3 years and Beko and Smeg are doing 5 years warranties. Siemens also have 5 years but they're built in.

              • @yanyan1: how do you identify german from turkish versions ?

  • These any good? I've been messed around with a technika (dimplex rebrand) pos for ages

  • Just replaced our Series 2 with a Series 6. Failed after about 4-5 years, with the plastic lining deforming and bowing out.

    • nice! hope it lasts you a lot longer. theyre not cheap the series 6 are they? around $1200-1500?

      • Yeah, $1390 delivered, but it looks to be a lot better quality than the Series 2, so hopefully will last a fair bit longer,

        • Is that worth twice the price? You can get one more 5 years down the line if you dont go higher end series.

          • @John Doh: We had an old Bosch in our kitchen that kept getting faults so we replaced it with a new series 6. Honestly, apart from having wifi, they clean exactly the same.
