The 3060 is not a good combination with a 4k screen and 15.6". The battery life would also be affected. Some weird decisions by manufacturers.

3060 is fine for a lot of creative/productivity work. It's only a problem if you want to push that 4k screen in recent games.
Personally though, I'd be getting Ryzen or waiting for 12th gen Intel laptops for the better battery life.

This is directed at gamers though I think. 16gb of RAM for such expensive systems hardly screams productivity.

What are you on about. This is targeted at creators it is literally in the name…

If you're strictly a gamer 4k OLED on a laptop makes zero sense.

  • would be good if 32gb

    • The RAM can be upgradeable up to 64GB.

      • still, I am waiting for intel gen 12, lol

I assume battery life is horrendous?

    • Intel®

      Yep

      • +1

Yup. That's a shame. It's crazy how Intel has half the battery life of a Ryzen equivalent.

        • I'm on a MBP 16 M1 pro coming from MBP 16 i9 and I was gobsmacked by how stark the difference is, to say Intel dropped the ball would be a groß understatement.

  • How's MSI laptops quality? Better than Razer?
