I've been looking for a basic stand to mount a monitor and laptop tray. This seems to fit the bill at a pretty budget price.
Just ordered and it should be delivered by Sunday.
What could go wrong?

  This item was shipped to me with missing bags of screws, so I wasn’t able to assemble it.

  P.S If you want to make the arm shorter you can just take the "180 degree" part off and just mount the VESA holder onto the same holes (I did it for my vertical mount before I switched to a piston on to move it around regularly).

  Is there any monitor stand that can be used for a desk that has a high back to it? I've got a IKEA desk with a draw so nothing is big enough to clamp on the back.

    Do you have a void behind the actual drawer insert and the backplate? I would get any mount and drill a hole and thread a nut on the inside through the casted holes on the mount like here

    If you don't mind drilling a hole in the desk with a hole saw, get a bolt through monitor stand.
