Hey great post. Which one is most similar to the old Microsoft intellimouse? i had the 1.1 and 3.0 and loved them both.

    • I'd forgotten how much I liked that mouse till you mentioned it!

Edit: It looks like they still exist, but dunno how similar they'd be 20 years later.

      • i know right… I found a review once on either amazon or reddit comparing a zowie mouse to the intelli but i cant remember which one it was. Man i miss the comfort. Getting old these days haha

        • Just visually, the ZA ones look pretty close.

Must be clearing stock for the new C series I'm guessing.

  • would you happen to know which one is as close to a successor to the fk1?

  • I guess they are using same PMW3360 sensor?

The newer "C" models are lighter and have superior cables, It feels like wireless. But, C models retail at 100$. Zowie mice are pretty solid it can last 10+ years. The only reason I dont like zowie is they use Huano switches. these switches have pre-travel and it's doesn't feel right. But hey , you won't even notice it so.. Good luck.

  • do these all have the same awful scroll wheel as the ec1b? only zowie mice i have ever tried (and have)

    • Zowie S series improved scroll wheel from other series. Feels more smooth now

  • Zowie EC series are very close to Microsoft intellimouse. But S series are more comfortable for most of people. ZA series are very close to Steelseries Sensei. Zowie mouse has no fancy looking. But they are solid and high quality. Wildly used by professional gamers.

    • I really like Zowie's build quality, much sturdier and better built than any other mouse i've ever tried
the shape is also really comfortable for my hand, only issue was the crap scroll wheel and that they don't make any wireless mice, if they had a wireless zowie i'd be really interested in it

  • I bought one of these Zowies a while ago after all the typical hype and was rather annoyed at how loud the buttons are.

Loudest clicking sound i've ever heard on a mouse and i've used many, otherwise its good.
