Description
This ergonomic colander has several unique features. The single vertical handle leaves one hand free for operating the tap and ensures it remains upright and stable if placed in a sink. Its square corners make emptying food easier and the vertical holes allow liquids to drain away quickly. Along with its square shape, this latest version is now stackable making it even more space efficient. Available in a variety of colours. Dishwasher safe. BPA Free

Excluding the square corners, the kmart version of this is $2.50 and pretty much identical.

I simply could not handle my guests seeing me draining the noodles for the Indomie Mi Goreng dish in an Anko Colander.

      Different shape and different colour.

Your definition of pretty much identical is pretty far off the mark.

Luckily I'll still be around when you learn what pretty much means too.

The corners and thicknesses of plastic make the j&j a better product.

      • -3

The kmart one is plenty thick.

    is this good for rice?

    • Boiling Rice? - Madman!

      • lol, to drain the water when cooking rice.

        • From the picture the holes look too big. Better to pay a bit more and get a stainless steel mesh colander.

        • Why are you draining water when cooking rice?

        • Save the water you drain, it’s plenty good for plants

          • @nix1016: never heard of hot water for plants, but i guess it would be put to better use then going down the drain. thank you, i will start doing that now.
