        Yeah, but a lot of el cheapo branded products are doing this. El cheapo capture cards often have blue colour USB ports. To make the matter worse, some sellers even indicate they are USB 3 (but they are only USB 2).

  This one from eBay might be a better deal as its USB3 and it also works with Chromecast with Google TV.
  The only downside is that its ethernet port is only 100Mbs and not Gigabit.

      Fair enough but if you are after a USB C Hub to work on the Chromecast with Google TV, then the one I link to works with it but this one doesn't.

  Isn't this a better deal for roughly $10 more? HDMI 4K@60Hz and 3 x USB3.0 ports.
  I use it as a docking station at home to connect my Razer Blade 14 to a gaming monitor and wired gaming keyboard and mouse.

  Not sure if it will work with gaming laptops with a MUX switch though, as I'm looking to upgrade in future.

      Do you know if the HDMI port will work with gaming laptops with a MUX switch? Does it go through the CPU or GPU? Thinking of upgrading to the 2022 Asus G14 laptop in a few months time.
