[ACT] Ryobi 18V ONE+ Precision Rotary Tool Kit (2Ah Battery) $55.30 (30% off) @ Bunnings (Tuggeranong)

580

Further to the deal I posted the a few weeks back and this (better) $40 deal posted after(which wasn't at all stores) I've spotted the same tool today for $55.30 (30% off) at the Tuggeranong Bunnings in Canberra.

The URL to this kit is now dead on the Bunnings site, so I can't see where it's in stock elsewhere, or if it's a drop that's at all stores. It's still on the Ryobi website at $79 though.

I'd hazard a guess and say that this kit is probably discontinued, has been removed from the site, and is being marked down in each store at the manager's discretion!

Like the $40 one posted earlier, your mileage with this deal will vary from store to store!

Worth a shot to go look (I'll go check out Canberra Airport), thanks OP!

its a pretty sh*t airport from memory

      • +3

I guess it depends on what you want from an airport.
If its food options, then yes.

But if its no crowds, a quick screening process, and a quarter of the walking distance from the car park to the actual aircraft gate, then it's a terrific airport.

Sydney and Melbourne are big and have food options, but are horrible to transfer through. Sydney especially if you're travelling internationally.

          This!
I always look for the smallest airports to travel through for this reason. I don't care about food or shopping, I want the quickest, smoothest, least crowded option.

      • It's not what it was 15 years ago. Had a big upgrade, and while it's small, it's not the tin-shed it once was.

A quick flip around Powerpass suggests these are available at Harrisdale and Cannington, with low stock at Innaloo - no idea on markdown pricing though!

    • Still showing as $79 in powerpass?

    • +1

Just to save everyone time on calling.
I have called harrisdale and Cannington and they can't find it via the product number.

    • How do you purchase through the Powerpass app? After clicking Checkout it says to be in store first

It also lets me add 200 pcs for a store which shows them in stock, so not too sure if stock qty is accurate

      • There’s a bug in the power pass app that lets you add more items than they have in stock.

I experienced it last year when trying to buy 20x items for work and the lady at the trade desk said each store only kept 5x of the item needed and I would have to either place a special order or drive to each store if I wanted them that day.

Can anyone please check VIC stores?

    • Looks like most of the stores around me have stock still, so there could likely be a fair few around.

  • CN anyone tell me what is the product number? The photo is abit blurry

  • Doesn't come with the accesories…what would you use this for? and any sense of how much accessories would cost?

    • +1

This comes with some basic accessories (15 from memory), but I picked up the 155 piece kit with this for an extra $20.

    • +2

I bought one at $79 a few weeks back and it definitely does come with some accessories:

Couple left in Rothwell, QLD. Marked down to $79, but I showed them OP's photo and they were more than happy to match $55.30.

    • They let me have one for $49 today. 1 left in the sales rack when I left.

  • I got one from Coburg in Vic. marked as 79 but matched after showing the photo. Lady said she had 4 in stock on the computer.

  • Staff at 3754 wouldn't price match

  • Can some please provide a receipt

  • Oxley QLD had about 4 but refused to price match
    Rocklea QLD had none

  • Would this be suitable for removing grout around tiles? Need to regrout my bathroom

    • Yes, ideal for detail grinding like that

  • got one for $79 at Ballarat Delacombe, still 4 in stock. the tool without battery is still $100 not great but not a terrible deal.
first time using powerpass, was told it's brand dependent and ryobi doesn't seem to do powerpass deals?. got 5% off some acacia hardwood though.
also ryobi selling 155piece rotary sets: https://www.ryobi.com.au/products/details/155-piece-rotary-t… doesn't appear on bunnings site but it was $20 next to the other clearance items.

  • Got the last one from Bunnings Thomastown for $50
