How does this work ? I can't see any buy button at all

    • +1

Yeah it's not working yet, this happened at the 3pm drop as well. Hopefully they fix it soon.

They will all become available to buy when it's working.

      • +1

How long did it take to fix last time?

        • +2

3 minutes (started working at 303pm), so this is worse.

The opposite of last night where it started 5 minutes early.

          • @hamza23: Do we click on the “view auction lots”?

          • @hamza23: How do you know when it's "working"?

            • +2

@TazR: You can click on any of the lots and purchase 1, once someone has purchased a lot it will show as sold. Edit: Working now.

            • @TazR: Working now

  • +4

    I don’t understand what’s happening…

  • +1

Must be run by the WHO.

  • +1

Somebody messed up. There's nothing to bid on and then it closes

  • These are all bulk lots?

  • It's working!

  • Open just bought lot 14

  • Easy way to get people sign up, collect their email and mobile number for spamming or resell :-|

    • My email is one specially for promotions such as these and phone number is a $2 SIM :)

    • Unsubscribe/block number is easy and free lol

  • Working

  • Got one just then. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP, just snagged a lot. #47 I randomly scrolled to xD

  • Got one thanks op

  • Phew. Managed to get one this time. Gotta be on the ball with you lot!

  • Got one thanks

  • Thanks got one….but hella confusing

I know this is free but this is a dumb way to do this and clearly a veiled bid to get traffic to their website

    • +3

Duh? Why else would a business give away free stuff?

    • Do you think they care about the community and do this? nahhhh

    • Guessing you have never entered an online competition before or signed up for a free sample from a website?

    • On the contrary I think this is a smart way to do this. They can do a public service distributing RATs and at the end of the reporting period count these towards the number of total bids completed on their site :)

    • +2

Jokes on them, I'm never going to bid on anyth-

Wait someone is selling a tank!

  • All gone, we'll see if there is another one tomorrow. Should be at 11am if so.

    • "Limits apply 1 per customer per Auction" ..
Per auction here defines once per session (3 different times) or once per day or one time this whole give away?

      • Yeah I'm not 100% sure, up to interpretation. I would guess that once per auction means once per session.

      • Assuming 1 each at each time slot
Got 1 yesterday and 2 today

    • When would they ship these?

      • I'm not sure but those of us who got 1 last night haven't heard anything as yet. I wouldn't expect them anytime soon.

        • ha ha, I guess after 6 months when it would be worth one dollar.

      • Had tracking show up from them in my AusPost app today for some I got a couple days ago. Shipping from Sydney.

    • 10am live

  • Started early ….

  • Is there another one at 7pm/8pm today?
(The only one in the auction list now is the paid one)

Looks like they have decided to end the campaign…

      • Yes, I suspect it achieved their objective of making people aware that they have large quantities of the tests available for purchase with no limit on quantity.

        • Yeah.. They have around 20+ listings for 600X packs … So this small giveaway was indeed a good marketing strategy …

          • @GDayStraya: I suspect they are trying to shift these quickly as large stocks start becoming available.
I suspect we will end up with a similar situation to sanitiser soon….

            • @Gaz1: But the funniest thing is, none of us have got the kits yet … And we don't know if it was a scam or not… haha …

  • +3

Received a tracking link earlier on, they are using Fastway/Aramex

    • 🤦‍♂️

    • Auspost for me

    • -1

I got 3, 1 auspost, 1 fastways and the third is still at picking
Same address so it’s not even location dependent

  • The 1 per customer is wrong, I've been able to get several sent out. It says on the page one per customer per day.

  • +1

The brand given out is rated 80% acceptable sensitivity.

    • 89.47%

      • What is that "brand" given out by them..
        Is it confidential? 🤪

  • +1

got mine today, but there was only 1 test in the package

    • Supposed to be a twin pack right?
I'm not sure if everyone received only 1 test pack…

      I haven't got mine either… :D

  • +1

Got mine today via AusPost, single test in a ziplock bag. Still, free is free.
89.47% for symptomatic and 68.75% for asymptomatic. Specificity 99.53%

  • Same here - received mine today - single test in a ziplock bag.

  • -1

These assholes ripped me off one rat test. Only got one.

  • Arrived. Got one test only.

  • Received mine last week and only got one InnoScreen test kit in it, not 2.

  • Glad I’m not the only one who got one instead of two….

  • Got one only as well in a clip seal bag delivered via Auspost.

  • Still nothing looks like my purchases have been cleared as well in my account. Anyone else?

  • just received mine and just one not 2
