    It's misleading

    • its actually up to
    • it's a voucher, not Cashback

    $250 spend = $50 voucher
    $500 spend = $100 Voucher
Then goes up by $500 spend increments to $5000 spend

    And the t&c:s

the Bonus Dollar Points Voucher will be emailed within 96 hours and must be used within 7 days

So you get the voucher within 4 days & younhave 7 days to spend… being dodgey, they might mean 7days after purchase.

    • It is a very misleading ad promo thing. I received a txt earlier saying "20% cash back" only to find it is vouchers as you said.
Instead of doing vouchers, why don't they simply have a 20% off sale….. instead of handing out free stock in way of vouchers?

      • The initial purchase has no actual discount, and locks you in to come back and buy something else to unlock your "discount".

These kind of promotions work for the retailer, and typically extract more money from your wallet when you spend more than the value of the voucher.

        • I see the point of dragging more dosh from the wallet. But if someone spends $5k, you'd think they wouldn't have anything else to buy lol! Only pro tradies would spend that kind of money i spose but anyway…… still it is a misleading promo headline

  • +4.2% cashback from cashrewards/shopback

  • Also check the pricing
The Makita Power Head is $449 here, $384 atost other places.

They maybe getting their marketing ideas from ebay ;-)

    • I checked a few too. Most price are the same as every other places, so if you are looking for new tools, the bonus is nice.

  • I ordered through afterpay does this still apply?
