      Frequency would be too high, burns more than shocks. I've played around with these step up high voltage boosters, the shock only goes up to your elbows, hardly incapacitating.

    Got one of these when they were $3. Not worth it at all.

    Works for an open stick candle. Doesn't if it's a glass cup candle as you need to get the wick inside the plasma cross and the lighter cover doesn't open fully. It's pretty awkward and limits it's use, chucked it in camping gear box.

    Also OP is just spamming marked up Aliexpress cheap junk onto Amazon.

      Yes and no. It will light the gas, but you'd have to hold it very close and likely to get burnt in the process.

    Don't buy this version!

    There's a better one available with an open top where the plasma arc is. This one is very enclosed with the two fingers coming up like that.
    There's a better version that is much more open and practical.

    This design should work well for cutting and sealing thin rope in one go. Probably a bit restrictive for larger things though.

    Have it. I wouldn't recommend. It's difficult to light most things. Stick to a normal lighter.
