                    • @sugardumpling: No email, no bonus on second statement. Met spend criteria (as I believe) mid way through second statement. Two dribbles of monthly QFF points received. I am not looking forward to my next call to NAB. 😔

                      • @muncan: Called (my most pleasant NAB phone call to date) and they confirmed my bonus points will come on 3rd statement (as I met spend criteria during 2nd statement). You’d have to met spend before 1st statement (14 days) in order to get bonus on your 2nd statement.

                      • +1

@muncan: Hmm I met spend criteria before the first statement but no bonus on first statement. I should get my second statement in the next few days. Will let you know if I received them!

          • @sugardumpling: Ditto. Assuming will come in next statement period

          • +1

@sugardumpling: Last month points received on 11th march. So I'm not expecting any bonus points until 11th April.

            Will keep you posted.

            • @kickling: Looks like I'll be calling. I had already called to confirm my QFF.

Made minimum spend on the 22nd Feb, so I should have received the points on my 25 Mar statement.

              Annoying

              • @scphotos: Ah yup that's annoying. Good luck

              • @scphotos: I just got my second statement and the bonus points still not there…

                • @sugardumpling: Minimum spend made on the 22nd Feb. Apparently I'll get teh points this statement period, on the 25th April. A bit rough. We'll see what happens…

  • I was fortunate enough for my QFF number to have been recorded and to receive the 100,000 bonus points on the first statement.

Now to close the card and get the annual fee pro-rated.

    • Has the points also shown in your Qantas account? The bonus points show on my statement but they haven’t come through to my account yet. I’m reluctant to cancel until they come through or am I being too cautious?

      • Yes, the points are in the account.

        • Thanks, will keep waiting then

    • Took about 6 business days for the pro-rata refund to come through to my bank account.

  • No 100k bonus points on the second statement. Annoying.

    • yeah same!!

      • Same. It is quite annoying and will need to make a call.

    • Same. Just got off the call with the bank, and they are saying it will come on the third statement. It's +1 statement on when you met the requirements

      • But I've met the spending within a week of getting the card… so annoying. I will give them a call later

        • Same, I put exactly 5k through week 1 and got 5k points come through in the first statement and zero on the second statement as I didn't make any spend.

          • @momo1988: When you ring, can you ask whether they award points on the date of statement, or is it a monthly set date cycle per month. Just curious.

I think some banks award points on certain dates/days each month in a cycle, regardless of when your statement cycle is.

            • @kickling: A few months ago bonus points were already mentioned on the first statement for me.
This time I don't see anything on the statement wrt bonus points.

            • @kickling: I just called. The lady said it can take up to 3 statements for the bonus to appear. She said the system is quite random - some people may get the points sooner some get later etc.

              • @sugardumpling: Thanks for this info and I'll save my call to them since I really dislike calling banks and being put on hold. Paying for another month of the annual fee isn't the end of the world for the amount of points you get for it.

              • @sugardumpling: That's quite a shit system then

  • lol I have clearly spend 3k in 2 months:

    29-Mar-2022
    NAB QANTAS CARD
    +427

    01-Mar-2022
    NAB QANTAS CARD
    +2,589

Second statement is here with no 100k bonus.. This is very annoying. Did anyone get anywhere with calling?

    • +1

Called them and they said I've met my spending criteria.
The points can take up to 3 statements, so will have to hold it for another month..

  • +1

I don’t want to be “that guy” (I’m frustrated too), but it is stated in the T&C in the OP:

Bonus Qantas Points will be credited to your points balance within 3 months of meeting the spend criteria

    • That's true.
Of course NAB set the expectation before by immediately giving the points.
Maybe NAB trying to squeeze a 3months fee out of churning users? (anyway still better than ANZ where you get full annual fee; although I got the ANZ fee back via my breakfree package).

      • Right. People would not care so much if they could not get their fee back. I got the bonus on my first statement but keeping the card for a while.

    • +2

I just hate that its so random… some people got their points on their first statement, others waiting up to 3? I'm in the camp of, my QFF wasn't captured during the application, called after my 1st statement, had it added, got my 2nd statement, got ~8000 QFF points applied to my account for those two statements but no 100k bonus. Seems like there is no point calling until my third statement but its frustrating as hell. Hopefully have better luck with the ANZ Black card…

      • I and others have had a terrible run around when applying for the ANZ card.

  • Got my second statement and still no bonus points. But got 17k regular points.

  • +1

NAB offering 2 bonus points for every dollar in April now

    • I only received the card today and also got the email about the 2 bonus pts on top of the regular pts for the month of April.

    • My email states

We know you love NAB Qantas Rewards, so throughout April you'll earn 2 bonus Qantas Points on top of your standard earn rate* when you spend with Qantas using your NAB Qantas Rewards credit card.

Is there another offer or is it just on Qantas spend?

      • Ohhh. Sorry yes. I misread. It is only on Qantas spend.

    • Is that to a maximum of 5000 points ?

    • I didn’t receive an email. Wonder if this is targeted?

  • I didn't contact NAB to check if they have my qff number, spent $3000 and surprisingly received the 100k bonus points.

  • Two statements issued, minimum spend met, no points at all transferred

    • +1

I got my second statement generated on 04/04/2022 with 100k bonus points. QFF not updated with Points though.
Today i got the following mail from NAB.

      Hi Madhu,

Congratulations, you’ve earned 100,000 Bonus Qantas Points because you spent $3,000 on everyday purchases within 60 days of opening your NAB Qantas Rewards Signature Card.

Don’t forget as long as you keep your card open, you’ll receive an extra 25,000 bonus points within the 13th month.*

When do I get my points?
Your Bonus Qantas Points will appear in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account by 11/05/2022 as long as we have your correct Qantas Frequent Flyer details.
If you need to update your Qantas Frequent Flyer details, please call us on 13 22 65 Monday – Friday 8am-6pm AEST.

      Thanks,
      NAB

      • I got the same exact email today.

        • I got the email today too but I'm in my third month with no points transfered at all. Have raised a complaint but still no points. Very frustrating experience with NAB

          • +1

@arcticmonkey: May be wait until the date mentioned in your email to credit points. In my case I need to wait until 11/05/2022, by that time, i will get 3rd statement aswell.

        • I just got the email too. Hopefully hits our accounts before the 11/05 considering others have already been paid out…

      • Got this also.

      • Also received this email today 🙋‍♂️

      • They must have done this in bulk! I also got the email today saying points will arrive by 11/05.

Met minimum spend in second statement and will receive third statement on 28/04.

        • I guess enough people were calling to hassle them they decided to email with a date that covers everyone’s statement cycle

      • Same email for me today

      • Got this email too.

My statement came 4/4/22 and it showed the 100k points bonus but nothing in my Qantas account.

On pervious statements the points arrived in my account within a day.

        • I need to contact NAB… haven't got this month's PDF statement but in my account it has already flagged what the direct debit amount will be. Something is failing in their systems.

        • same with me, have you contacted NAB about this? My statement finally showed 100k points but nothing in my Qantas. Last month points showed up within the same day

          • @sugardumpling: They told me today that because of the weekend that there's been a delay… Lol wtf

            • @kickling: Lol they're hopeless! have you got your points in your QFF account?

              • @sugardumpling: I just checked internet banking, i can download my statement now. It says that I have earned the month's points + 100,000 so that is a good sign.

This means I should see them tomorrow. Statement date should equal QFF date, in a normal world.

(And yes, today is Tuesday, the weekend has well and truly passed … but besides the point, NAB obviously give their computer systems a break every weekend too lol)

              • @sugardumpling: Still no points yet. Finally got statement issued yesterday.

                • @kickling: I called NAB and apparently they were having some issues which have been rectified. She said we all should get our points credited into our Qantas account soon before Easter!
                  So hopefully today!

                  • @sugardumpling: Well, it has to be today, because apparently their computer systems also enjoy weekends and public holidays…

                    • @kickling: I just got mine! :) go check yours!

                        • +1

@kickling: For the record, got points last night. That would be 2 days after statement issue, which was also 2 days late.

                          Definitely system issues.

  • Just got the 100k points applied to my QFF account

    • What date of each month is your statement date?

      • +1

        09/03 $3K Spent
        04/04 Statement date
06/04 Email confirming 100K points earned
13/04 100K points applied to QFF account

    • Same. Also have my 100k points added to QFF.

  • Anyone think if we can get the points from this promo after completed this Qantas one?

From the T&Cs, the Rewards card is different with Qantas card.

100,000 points is about $500 of WW giftcards. If you can get one then spend within 30 days, you can get the full fee back.

    • +1

For ANZ I know rewards and Qantas cards are different.
I would expect for NAB too, would be good to hear from somebody that tried before ..

  • I was reading the T&C and noticed it says Qantas points are normally transferred about 6 days before the end of your monthly statement. Points earned after this date will be transferred the following month.
Knowing this, I have a few more weeks to wait before I check my account to see if my 100k points show

  • 100k points arrived 2 days after 2nd statement. Met the spend 3 days after 1st statement.

  • Got the 100k points applied to my QFF account on 13-Apr [ 2nd stmt date 04/04/2022 ]

  • +1

Hey guys, I got this offer and cancelled within 2 months paying only $21 annual fee after the refund - well happy.

I know this offer has expired but was thinking of the wife getting this card that is now only 90,000 points, $3k spend in 60 days and $295 annual fee, again with the pro rata refund going to pay little money for 90K Qantas points has got to be a bargain (done all the other better deal cards recently - St George/ANZ/HSBC etc)

Met my spend last fortnight, got my second statement on the 20th April and Qantas points were credited the next day on the 21st April. Received the email a few days later that I had met the spend.

Overall, this is the smoothest experience I've ever had with a credit card here in Oz. American Express is the second-best, as they had the second-fastest points crediting —— ANZ is by far the worst, Citibank the second worst. St George decent. Westpac and Commbank haven't tried yet.

    • My experience is the same as yours, also regarding the whole application process. ANZ was terrible even though I had a card from them previously I gave up. Citibank is a bureaucratic nightmare. Westpac was pretty good. NAB was the easiest.

  • My 3rd statement has just been generated overnight and the 100k points are appearing as earned although they haven't credited to my qf account yet.

    • Mine took a day to appear in my QANTAS account

      • Yes mine have appeared this morning. Time to cancel the card now.

  • +1

My 3rd statement issued this morning including bonus points, which landed in my Qantas account this evening.
Points Club Plus renewal for 2022/23 triggered 😃

  • +1

My experience: approval was quick, QFF was not linked even though was included on application.Had to call them to link it.Points criteria met within 1st statement cycle. Confirmation email form Nab after 2nd statement. Bonus points appeared on 3rd statement 02 May, credited to Qantas account 03 May . Cancelled CC via live chat .Will be receiving $166 fee refund within 25 business days.
