the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few

  • This is the king of camping chairs but its heavy and hard to find space in the car. Good price, i bought mine back in 2014 for $110, still holding strong

I can't tell if this one still comes with the pockets behind the headrest. Its good storage space for phone, keys, wallet and powerbank

    • It'd be good tier if I wasn't so huge even when folded!

I've tried this (a friend's) for a night. TBH it's not much more comfy than any other good quality chair, and in some ways less because the footrest is always in the way - you can't lean forward and wrap your feet under, etc. With a standard chair you can also get much closer to the fire without risk of melting the thing, even lifting your feet real close on something temporary like a box or similar to heat right up. Considering the extra bulk I don't think this recliner is worth the hassle for a camp - maybe better round the pool or something.

  • Can someone share a photo, or a receipt? I'd like to try get another anaconda store in adelaide to price match

    • I'd like to try get another anaconda store in adelaide to price match

They will only price match a competitor according to their policy.

    • I have update deal with photo I took instore. Hope that helps.

  • This looks like a mobile chair from hospital or something

  • Mind you it's often at around $120, which is what it is worth. Still a good price, but there are alloy alternatives if you go over $200.

90 bucks is right price. Sale starts from that price not 260 bucks.

    How is a chair 4wd?

    • You need a real 4WD to carry the chair, its too large and heavy to fit in a standard SUV.

      • 12kg is too heavy for a SUV?

      • I agree with Wolfy - quite large and cumbersome - but very stable and sturdy with a handy side table - great for on the balcony but I wouldn't want to be hauling them around much. I find them quite comfortable when reclined (but they take a bit of a heave to get them to recline). Suggest that you try them in-store first - and also try carrying one around the store.

  • yes tough to carry as it does not completely lock and opens in your hands, but it is not a handbag. Very comfy and does the job really good.

    • Yes, very comfy and best deal at this price.

Just bought 1 this morning at Watergardens. Sign has changed to $99 but they still charged me $89 before I even questioned it. Plenty in stock, easily more than 20. I thought there'd be a few people rushing in to get it this morning but I was the only one in store when they opened. They also have a sample for you to try

    • Can you post a receipt please? I want to try my luck here in NSW.

Recently bought 2 wanderer alloy ones for 208 each - not sure they will get as much use as planned - far too awkward to carry even short distances and unfold, that said these look very similar to an alloy chair.
might try and return and replace for the price difference

  • Can anyone post a receipt please? I want to try my luck in NSW.

    • Listing is a bit old now, might be worth calling the Watergardens store to confirm its still on
