Makita's warranty conditions:

Not quite cheap enough to pull the trigger.
The usual trade days usually offers of 20% spend in points would bring this close to the value. Not the same as a straight discount though but local stock.
Milwaukee is the best brand. Makita? no way
Anyone know if this would take local Makita 18v batteries? I'm assuming the batteries are the same globally, but not 100% on that.
Makita sell exactly same model unit here, but a bit dearer at $348 for the skin only unit, so should have no problems with running your 18V batteries.
The only problem is you wont have access to local warranty for the tool as not bought here in Aust, but that might not pose an issue for you.
Tool batteries are not "local" they are all the same in any country. Makita or any other brand.
In other words yes this takes Makita 18V batteries from Bunnings

I just realised on eBay it offers 30 days “warranty” and PayPal offers “180 days” warranty regardless what the seller says.
