    These suck.

    (Totally buying one)

Get the bigger one if you want to do much wet vacuuming. 10L would be full in no time.

  • Kind of a weird question but this be any good at keeping my patio clean from dirt and debris? Probably 4x4m and there's an annoying lip making sweeping off the edge impossible.

    • +2

Should be. I use an ozito one for reno dust and debri.

    • Yes. You can dry or even wet vaccum ya patio. do try it.

    • Get a battery blower and just blow everything over the edge.

  • Got an old model, it really great except the filter.

    • +1

      except the filter.

      alternatives available?

    • bags will capture finer dust than cartridge style filters

  • Thanks, got one.

  • I've had one for a couple of years - I love it!

  • This is a great product for the weekend car enthusiast like myself!!

  • +2

Would this be fine on shaggy/fluffy rugs?

Planning on using to get rid of pet odour

    • +2

Indoor or outdoor. These are loud and won't have HEPA type filters that is required if you are using it indoors. These are great outdoors though. I used it to drain a pond.

      • for indoor rugs, but will take outside to clean them.

        • +2

POssibly. I don't know what causes the pet smells. My thoughts are that you will need to use a chemical to get it out of the rugs but I am no animal expert/lover.

With this vaccuum, you can soak the rug if you like with the detergent etc and suck it out sort of like a cheap skate steam cleaner.

I use this fellow on my car, spray hot water with coles detergent on carpet then suck it out.

What's the regular price? And how does it compare to the 20L Ryobis (beside size)?

    • +1

I think this is about 9$ cheaper than the regular price

  • +4

Can save another $10 using AFTERPAY10 via their eBay page and paying via Afterpay.

    • Code doesn't work, it said already applied to this order.

    • +5

AfterPay works if you haven't used it before, otherwise use PLUSFEB5 = $34.19

  • +1

Have one of these, haven't tried the wet function but its great as car/garage vacuum

    • +2

does it have a good suction to remove like crumbs, dirt, pieces of leaves stuck in the cars carpet?

      • +1

yup its quite powerful compared to a cheap no name brand household vacuum or something more expensive like a Makita portable battery powered vacuum

        • Is it as powerful as a miele vaccuum?

  • +1

Great little vacuum but 10l capacity is a lot smaller than you might think.

  • +2

Saved $5 on ebay with the code LTSHIPNGFWBD8C7M and picking up from a nearby store (Saved $7 on delivery), Thanks OP!

Is this any good for washing out dog accidents on carpets, rugs, etc? How about getting rid of dog hairs in case… guessing wet vacuum is not a good idea for that?

  • Is the wet function any good after spot cleaning of carpets?

  • +2

Very loud - and high pitched.

    • +9

      You've met the wife then.

  • Can anyone who owns one clarify that no bags are required?

That's where a lot of these cheaper wet/dry vacs get you. I'd rather something like a Dyson canister… where yeah, you have to rinse/wash a filter, but all the crud just goes into the main chamber for emptying later.

If no bag, is the filter part reusable? Or is that also a 'consumable'.

Review by K.Henry on the SCA site

Not suitable for my cars carpet (I’ll have to brush the tiny sand sized particles out of the carpet to get those out, however no fault of the vacuum. It’s suction is so strong for a vac this price. I’ve also owned cheap vacs and those are such a waste of money and slightly more expensive than this one. So this is definitely worth the price. It has a hepa filter and doesn’t require a bag. It can also blow air out from the other hose connection piece so it’s and extra bonus. I bought the car kit and it’s great for small crevice areas however it does come with some car attachments anyway, so I personally wouldn’t bother buying the car pack - however someone might like it?

      • Awesome mate, thanks for sharing.

I've been using one for several years in my garage as both a shop vac for cleaning up the floors and work bench and also a dust extractor for my table saw. Suction is great and it is bagless using only a filter which I've washed a few times now. Because it does tend to get clogged quickly when I set it up as a dust extractor Im building a cyclone pre-catcher for it so we'll see how that goes.

      • Thanks champ, that's exactly one of the uses I was thinking of implementing.

The main question was bagless. Check. And then reusable/washable filter. Check.
It's life will be shop vac/dust extraction, and adhoc wet mess clean up.

        Thanks very much.

i use warm water and bit of dynamo - pour it on carpet then use wet dry vaccum to suck it up. free carpet cleaning sort of

Will this work well with thousands of bootelbrush leaves and seeds on my artifical grass? I have a big tree out the back and my Ozito blowervac isnt doing the trick.

    • Keen to know this as well!

  • Got one! Been wanting one for so long and no idea how to use the wet function.

  • Well the bucket is so small you'll end up spending a lot of labour to drain these if you're washing/cleaning any meanfully sizable area. Have one of these PITA units. Just upgraded to this when it was on special at $119.97

Seeing as everyone's asking "is this any good for…".

Is this any good for vacuuming up sausages? Asking for a friend.

    • Yes, works great in combination with a c-r…so my friend tells me.

  • Out of stock in all 10 stores near me.
    😭

  • +1

Was out of stock in all stores near me but available for delivery, grabbed some Meguiars Gold Class from this deal and a bunch of rope from this deal, they also have Engine Stands for 40% off so grabbed one of them as well and copped the delivery cost. Thanks OP.

  • Thinking of buying this to use as a leave blower for my lawn, can it be used as one and is it portable or does it require attaching to a power point?

  • What is the suction on this like compared to a miele?

  • Anyone know how loud in dB this is?

  • This, or the 35L or the 35L Steel ?

  • Thanks op, got one to evac my sandblaster

  • Got a 35l today. Just used it quickly and pretty impressed compared to the low end ozito wet and dry.

    • Did you get the steel version or the similar black one?

  • Bought one and picked up yesterday. Tried in my garage and it worked impressively. The 1200w motor is pretty damn good. It's a full plastic body but feels sturdy. The materials are strong and no smells at all. For this price tag I can't ask for more. Pretty happy with it.

Edit: It can work as a blower as well. Just connect the hose to the air outlet. It was instructed in the manual.

  • Bunnings has the 35L equivalent to the tool pro for the same price. 3 year warranty and no fuss returns. Would definitely recommend as the ozito one has served us great as a workshop and car vac. I've even used it to clear a footing that flooded after some heavy rain.

The bunnings one is usually $99 so I'm guessing they've price matched supercheap to win people over. That'd be enough for me as supercheap can be a bit difficult to deal with for any returns.
