How much is the per minute cost of lime escooter?

Neuron is $1 + 45c per minute. So, $6 will be just about 10 minutes ride. I've been using Neuron free morning offer to commute to work and that takes me 30 mins. I cant see how an average ride is just 10mins long

    • I commute to work with my own scooter and that's about 10mins. Many people would use them for short trip between locations in the CBD. I think much more than those using them for a 30min commute. Average trips would also be lower while they are new, because people may just want to give them a go.

They are the same price. Crap offer

Personally I don't see the value of them in the city CBD. Tram's are free and runs to most part of the CBD and $6 would get you a full day / 2 hour trip depending if you hold a concession card or not.

Offer is valid for registered arevo users only —- what the hell is an arevo users??

    • The strange combo transport app that tries to do public transport, cycling, taxis and everything.
I've had it installed for years and still haven't figured out if I'm using it for its intended purpose.

Yes I just tried out the Neuron offer in the morning last week and it was pretty good - a lot of time wasted mucking about which I think is why they want people to try it for free first. I guess this is useful if you want to test out Lime.

Average ride would differ by person - I'm 1km to the CBD / free tram zone, so my average ride might be 3-4 minutes. I would usually walk it, it would be interesting to see if a scooter is quicker if in a rush - possibly not, but good to have options? A bit of planning is required though to find the bicycle paths / avoiding roads with speed limit >50km/h, so I think worth a test run to check it out if you're within 10 minutes or 3km.

Agree pricing not competitive compared to the public transport network for both Neuron and Lime, except for special offers.

arevo is an mobile app by RACV as guide to transport options in Victoria, a strange planning / offers app as someone touched on above. Technically you should download the app and sign up, to use the AREVO6 with Lime.
