For folks having access to the Education store, Add Samsung Care with Promo code "BONUSCARE", and it will bring down the cost of the phone to keep the price same ( i.e. free Samsung care).

Also, add any accessories worth $200 to the cart, reducing the cost by $200.

The "BONUSCARE" promo is also applicable to the normal store and the same can be applied to any other S22 series to get extra bundle.

So, I purchased S22 Ultra,128GB with Samsung Care, Galaxy Buds and a Leather case for $1509 from the education store.

    Does anyone know why I keep getting the error "Sorry, due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment"?

    When i did the valuation on my old phone, I selected online and NOT in-store and it then prompted for credit card details and provided a trade in code "SA_______".

    I have tried different browsers as well.

    I am trying the trade in on the Edu store.

    The error comes up as soon as I start typing SA, it doesnt even require the full code for the error message to come up.

      There's some bug with the trade-in probably. I cant even complete the trade-in on my old phone. It asked for CC details and when i submit, it just loads and the app crashed (on both iphone). Probably the Samsung Trade app on iOS just isnt stable.

            @UBryan: Tried a different card and worked, app crashes when using MasterCard, but no issues with Visa.

              @lanriver: I did use Mastercard. Wonder if I should cancel my order and place a new one to get the trade-in credit if the trade in app works. hmmm

    Seems like the $200 discount doesn't apply anymore if you add an accessory.

      No it doesnt anymore, they had patched it around the 11th / 12th Feb. But you can still get $200 worth of wearables / accessories free

        Aahh Yea, they fixed it. Last week I added a case of $20 and it would discount the price to $1299. Now you have to add $200 or more and then only it will subtract the amount :) Would have gotten the Ultra for $1299 last week but now the cheapest is $1479

      i saw someone had said, the $50 and loyalty discount doesnt applied on S22 series. But if you add S21 FE first, then add the $50 or loyalty discount, if it will work, then you add S22 product and delete the S21 FE from your cart, the discount should still work

      Does your order include trade-in ? some user with trade-in code did said about that issue. For me, i check out with afterpay and it went smoothly.

        Yes I did included trade in as well. So better to choose different methods of payment? Because I tried with 3 different cards and it still the same errors page

    Hello just want to ask about the trade-up app of samsung. It's because I'm using it to purchase s22+ on the samsung store.

    When I used it earlier, it charged me the trade-in value of the phone ($130 - Pixel 4 XL 128gb) even though I haven't even used the code yet.

    Is this normal for the process? I thought it would only charge whenever I didn't return the device at a given time.

    To summarise, I finished the trade-in process in the app, then they already charge me $130 instantly (it's on pending in the bank account yet, cause its new). I haven't used the code nor bought anything with it.

      I think it's a pre-auth only, just like when checking in to a hotel and will be cleared when you send the device. My charge from 10/2 is still pending until today.

    Does anyone know if it is possible that I use my friend's edu email to order, but the warranty goes to me? Is there a place you have to fill your personal details when checking out? I have not yet asked my friend.

      Just checked (17/2), the $200 off accessories / wearables still work. Just make sure you are adding accessories and wearables only

    Done!! Thanks for the OP. Grabbed friend's student email. Ordered S22 Ultra 512GB with blue color. Unfortunately there is no 1TB to choose for the blue color. Also get the Galaxy Buds Pro and Samsung Care+ (Not sure if this any good). Total is just $1,758.40. What a great deal! Time to retire my Samsung S7 Edge!!

    Hmm in the Education store…added S22 Ultra to the cart then added BONUSCARE promo code. I get the following message with no price reduction: "The code you entered did not affect your order. Please note, codes may only be valid for certain items or in certain conditions."
