Cashrewards Not Registering Even after Following Their Rules

Been using the CashRewards browser notifier (Safari) and i've been following their rules - no other tabs/windows open, no ad blocking software (paused during purchases) and no coupons.

The original click to activate CR is working, but i'm not getting any cash back. I've asked CR but they are no help.

Any ideas? Use another browser or just use the mobile app?

    Sounds about right… I basically give up on CR these days, as it fails more than it works!

      Me too. Cashrewards was recently bought out by a private equity organisation linked to ANZ. Lots of Mom and Dad investors were encouraged to sell below IPO price and generated a loss. It’s a shame, an Aussie company that lost its way. I’ve drifted back to ShopBack recently (just make sure you’ve taken reasonable precautions security wise).

      • Founders and insiders use IPO as a rug pull.

        Buidl a community around a brand and get plebs to sink their savings in it. Pamp the price up on 🚀 using the pleb's savings, cash in and then let it slowly bleed out. Plebs always sell at the bottom.

        They now wait for someone to buy the brand or they can buy it back at dirt cheap prices.

        The best part about this scam is it's legal.

    Hi, and thanks for the post. Safari browsers have a feature called ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’. Please turn this off and you’ll find tracking will improve. There may even be hidden malware that’s stealing cookies and attributing your purchases elsewhere.

    Further, using the Cashrewards mobile app will definitely benefit as a lot of users have 3rd party plugins on desktop browsers that play havoc with tracking. Things such as AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, VPNs etc are all an issue. The app avoids these potential problems as it utilises its own built-in browser.

      Yeah, when in doubt purchasing through the app has always tracked for me

    No oversight and no independent way to contest their arbitrary decisions.
    Don't use or support them.
    Don't get tricked by the damage control they do with reps here.
    Always happens on large purchases or bonus cashbacks.
    Can't be trusted in my opinion and experience.

        My list of declined cash rewards promotional bonuses says otherwise.
        That's my experience and opinion.
        And plenty of experiences in the forums from a wide variety of users have shared their same experiences.
        It is also a fact that there is no independent way for people to contest decisions made on cashback by Cashrewards.
        Unlike you, I do know what I am talking about and stick to the facts, not personal attacks.

          Thanks. Here’s some facts. Your promotional bonuses are declined because you’ve made no qualifying purchases against them, or have not followed the terms of the promos. If you only activate the ones you intend using, there would be no issue.

    Never had issues with tracking on CR. I use Chrome and make sure my adblock is disabled, I activate the cashback through the browser extension and it all works fine.
