I have one of these, they're tiny, which is actually a good thing if you know what you're getting.
It probably gets more quick use than my full size floor jack.
    I rate them pretty well.

This is what ebay uses when they have discount codes

Idk sorry, do you have a discount code on ebay?

      • +7

I think it's a reference to prices being "jacked up" when eBay discount codes are offered

I don't think so. eBay is using bigger jack.

Need a Low profile floor jack, (proper one) around this price to be a deal

  • How do you use this? 335mm is such a low height. Is it just for small car wheel removal?

    • 335mm is not low.

…how did you make that conclusion?

      • I've used a similar hydraulic jack that goes to 315. That's 2cm less than this and it was useless for my car.

        • Dang that is low

        • It sounds like your car is high, or you have a well endowed chest.

I find 300+ lets me fit underneath fine.

Clearly thats going to differ based on how high your jack point starts.

Not just for small cars though; my dads Chev lowrider gets a lot of lift from it.

But its tiny (physically) anyway, the jacking surface is smaller than your fist.

My common uses are just to decompress suspension components to replace bushings or swaybars without full disassembly; or to get under a vehicle for a fluid change. Especially on the rear diff.

  • Would this work to move a car parked over my driveway?

    • +9

Yes if you want to move it upwards

      • lol

      • Lol.
Was hoping that after I moved it upwards, I might then be able to move it sideways (looked like it had a pivotable wheel).

        • +3

Please don't do this. It is not meant to move anything.

        • The answer is "yes" but the real answer is "it'll probably break something and be dangerous.

You can buy wheel dolly kits for what you ask. Basically a low pivoting slide tray for wheels to sit on.

But if someone is blocking your driveway often; they're probably only held in place by a hand brake. So you'll get quicker results learning about hitch points and flat towing them.
