Product Information:

START FROM SCRATCH
We’ve combined the popular features of the DDJ-SB2 with our leading Serato DJ controllers to make learning to DJ more accessible than ever. The ideal tool for beginners looking to hone their skills, this 2-channel controller is easy to navigate, featuring a professional-style layout inspired by our top DDJ-S range. Master Serato DJ Lite, then when you’re ready, purchase Serato DJ Pro to progress on the one machine.

Transition between tracks with ease thanks to the added FX Fade feature and experiment with scratch effects without using turntables via the new Pad Scratch function. Co-developed with DJ Jazzy Jeff, this technique adds scratch recordings to tracks at a touch of the Performance Pads.

KEY FEATURES
INTUITIVE LAYOUT
All of the features were designed to be where you need them, when you need them. The layout inherits elements from our DDJ-S series with jog wheels, Performance Pads, play and cue buttons, independent Auto Loop buttons and all knobs and fader positions arranged in an easy-to-reach way that mimics professional gear.

PAD SCRATCH
Add scratch effects to cued and currently playing songs without a turntable thanks to Pad Scratch. This new effect lets you reproduce, and create patterns from, eight of hip hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff’s different scratch recordings. As the speed automatically matches the BPM, you won’t need to worry about breaking rhythm.

SMOOTH TRANSITIONS
Whether you’re an experienced DJ or beginner, mixing is seamless with the FX Fade feature. By reducing the volume and applying FX at the same time, FX Fade smoothly blends tracks – even those from clashing genres. Choose eight combinations of the following four FX patterns – high pass filter, low pass filter, loop playback and back spin.

DURABLE DESIGN
The DDJ-SB3 is constructed from premium materials and audio circuitry. Its robust build ensures durability, while the distinctive styling and aluminium jog wheel deliver a professional feel.

LARGE JOG WHEELS
It may be compact, but the DDJ-SB3 features large, low-latency jog wheels to give you great scratch response and accuracy.

  • only comes with serato lite, so you may need to account for an extra 200usd minimum if you want to buy the pro version outright, or 10usd a month for a subscription

    • wtf. it's 60 a year isn't it?

      • the default price with a lite controller is 200 once off or 10 a month for the lowest tier, unless there is a discount i dont know about

    • +1

That's why the DDJ 400 murdered this with the free Rekordbox software

      • Except Rekordbox was absolute garbage, hot garbage. Mind you, that was 3 years ago when I had my CDJ2000s. Haven't had anything since, have they improved it?

      • Wait, like this one?

Thinking of spending a few hundred on something to itch my childhood scratch.. 😅

        • never heard of that website before, but yeah thats the one. i got one of these as well to practice and learn djing and its great for beginning

          • @skysailz: Yeah, and they're apparently situated in Prahran..

Maybe I should pull the pin with Paypal checkout?

            • @[Deactivated]: honestly i wouldn't risk it, you're better off spending more for a trustworthy/licensed seller like this post, store dj or dj city for example

        • +2

That looks like a scam site

          • @pennyless: it really does…

            • @skysailz: Yeah, I even updated on the scam site comment.

Maybe I'm missing the fine print where it's for a framed image or something.. 😅

Although, if I knew the PayPal system to cancel the payment and claim the refund, I'd give it a shot, I have time to lose $80 for a few days or whatever long it takes for PP to process the refund.

Edit: I noticed he has contact info, maybe I'll try messaging/calling to see if pickup available. I expect a Covid-safe only blahblah response.

  • Grabbed one for $299 from the last Amazon Black Friday sale, a setup that does this used to cost a fortune.
