Maybe next time read the rules before posting, it does have some relavant stuff in there, such as defining an actual bargain. Not saying please be nice etc etc

  • Surprise surprise, cheap junk in sunshine

    • +2

Probably the only perk of living in Sunshine. I doubt they'll have many GTX 570s in stock though, which is a huge bargain. I managed to sell my old one on eBay for more than twice that a week ago.

Awesome price on the GTX570. I hate uni.

There were 2 available with 50+ people lining up for the gate to open :(

  • The Logitech G330 at Clayton is $12 while at Frankston its $39…

    Nice Centrecom.

a lot higher robbery insurance prices at frankston

  • can you order online or do you have to be in shop? will they deliver?

  • +1

If those selections are the best of the sales on the day, then I guess nothing of any worth.

    • You're probably right. This deal doesn't really interest me.. Hell I don't even live in Victoria. Just letting others know. It does say that there are other deals "in store", but it could be Junk. Probably just a way to get more attention to their shop.

  • bundoora store is just epic fail…

  • Logitech Squeezebox Duet - $10!!

  • Is it legal to place a 7 day limit on refunds for faulty products?

  • Just browsed around their site and spotted this 16GB USB for $9. Sounds pretty good on paper. Anyone had experiences with Strontium?

  • Did any of you guys had a hold on the Kaiser Bass USB TV Tuner, i need the model number and best if you have a scan of the receipt.

    Thanks

  • So did anyone go? How many GTX 570s did they have?

    • see my comment above. There were some cheap amd mobo's also but that was about it.

      • Cheers - figured as much. Reminds me of Dick Smith with their DSis.

        • the staff were joking that they all wanted cheap 570's too - they actually bought some out after, but at $299 I think it was lol.

Now I'm actually thinking those 2 cards were probably returns? maybe somebody overclocked them to death and only work in 2d or sli mode?

  • grabbed a few ipad accessories - covers etc at a few dollars each - nothing spectacular but good.
    laughed at the sausage sizzle.

    Hey Guys,

    There were 2x GTX570 there.

I went this morning. at 9:45am, drove 30 minutes to sunshine.
There were already a couple of guys waiting and the staff were setting up the BBQ.

As the clock strikes 10, the gates were opened, I was one of the first to get through.. everyone almost jogged to the tables and eyes were working overtime to spot the 570.

The first person who got to the tables grabbed the top one and I laid my hands on the 2nd one. as I picked it off the table with 2 hands, I could feel a couple of hands pulling back from a failed grab and also a couple of "awwwwww" behind me.

As I walked through the small tent with 3 rows of goodies. I quickly made my way to the motherboards section. and managed to pick up Z68XP-UD3R for $59!! (staticice for $170). Amongst other stuff, I managed to pick up great bargains for almost 40-60% of it's actual price..

    • I think I may've been close behind you in the checkout queue. I was eyeing the card in your (or the other person's) possession for some time while queued - good score! It sure was hectic in there; I'm surprised people were as civilized as they were.

I think I got a couple of good deals so I'm not saddened missing out on a GTX570.
