      It's pretty good for this price indeed. My biggest problem with Deathadders is that the grips come off before the mouse stops working. I've tried gluing them back on etc but they always fall back off in the end. So I've just moved to the Glorious Model D, there's no grips, similar shape and it's like $80, so more expensive, but generally, looks like it will outlast the Deathadder.

        DeathAdder Essential .. its all plastic with NO side grips to come off.. i like it better and lasts longer for less money :) … its a win win

        • I can see grips on the picture? I've also seen review that say "side grips" are on this mouse. I've not had a Deathadder Essential in hand, but my Deathadder Elite had rubber grips, so I assume the Essential's are the same?

          Edit: So I found one random YouTuber with like 1000 subs, he said the "grips" are textured plastic. Very interesting! I didn't know that, so I'm happy to be wrong, it's weird that the "cheapo" Deathadder may actually have the best longevity compared to it's older brother, the Elite.

            @KARMAAA: I'm using one right now….

            it has indented plastic.. "side grips" .. no rubber to come off its all one solid plastic mold… in the images it looks the same as the DeathAdder v2 but the Razer DeathAdder Essential is not the same.

            As apposed to the DeathAdder v2… that i've owned a few of .. those rubber side grips come off and the glue under them is sticky… :) i've had both the RGB and normal green versions as well as the Razer Naga RGB MMO mouse

  • For ~ $25 gaming mouse, I would recommend the Razer Viper 8KHz (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/679095) with a way better gaming experience.

  • I've got a DeathAdder v2 mouse (not much difference) and it's a good solid but light mouse. Only problem I found was when trying to use it on my work laptop - because I can't install the Razer software (work policies etc) it was just staying with the default constantly flashing light. I ended up having to turn it off completely (turn brightness to zero) because you can't store a light pattern or colour in the mouse, you have to use the Razer software.
