WOEX2022

I just found this via whistle out and thought it was a decent deal, hopefully, it's not a dupe.

Get an Amazon eero 6 WiFi router for only $99 (normally $157.95) on sign up to an eligible Superloop nbn plan by 13 March 2022.

  • Customers must nominate WhistleOut as their referral channel and use the promo code WOEX2022 at time of purchase to receive the hardware discount.
  • Offer valid on FTTP, FTTC and HFC technology types only.
  • 250/25 and 500/50 is only available on FTTP and HFC.
  • Returning customers [who have previously been with Superloop and already received a six (6) month discount promotion] will not be eligible for a new promotion for a period of twelve (12) months.

Just signed up for 100/20 for $69 a month for 6 months using the code above, fingers are crossed superloop provides a decent NBN service, they seem to be popular here on OZB.

Cheers.

HI anybody got the promotion for existing customer for free eero mesh wifi 6 router?

  • Just finishing my 6 month promo with Superloop. I have been with 4 or 5 isp's and all have been the same speed, just swap for better prices.
I was getting dropouts for a month or 2 during the day and called them, got through in a minute and the after a minute or 2 on the phone I had an nbn technician come around who rewired my house and replaced nbn box and checked everything out for me, which doubled my speed, and no drop outs since in the last couple of months.

Tldr I called Superloop and after 1 min waiting and 2 mins talking they had an nbn technician come round 2 days later.
    Very happy with their service.

Hmmm your experience vastly different than mine and a lot of others apparently.

Called them 3 times today, took me hours for each call and no one answering.

You got to buy a lottery ticket mate, seems your luck is on the roll if you can get through superloop phone support within 1-2 minutes.

      • I was having dropout issues for a couple of months and put off calling them expecting lengthy delays and not much help. I was pleasantly suprised, as I was with Nbn co's efforts aswell. Good luck.

If you are happy to wait on hold for hours to try to get some help with outages, then this is the plan for you. Using the 'we will call you back function' and emailing them also did not help. As for me, once I made the switch to ABB, the outages stopped and the speeds we used to get before switching to Superloop returned. Would never go back to Superloop.

Superloop - cheap prices, horrible customer service

Keep clicking those referral links, people!
As an existing customer, I love the ongoing discounts my OzBargain brethren are getting me.

    • I hear ya and have no referrals atm so I am paying full.

Please folks, if you can help other Ozbargainers out by clicking the above referral link would be very helpful 🙏👍

I just found this via whistle out and thought it was a decent deal, hopefully, it's not a dupe.

Absolutely is a dupe. This is not a new deal nor is it related to the code you posted. The code that you posted is for a discount on an eero router if you add it to your plan.

The actual $20 a month discount on the nbn plan is just the standard discount as per https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/641893

    • This deal is completely useless. The actual code is for a $99 router, and for some reason it makes the 50/20 speed $5/mo more.

  • So, what is the discounted price ? is it less than $55 for 50 Mbps package ?

    • $54.95

      • +1

No, if you use this code it's $5 more.

    Superdroop…too many ..

Shocking customer service, many POI have CVC issues, they remove local networks with no notice.

    Scammed job seeker

  • +2

Lacklustre customer support coupled with huge wait times to get through to speak to someone- would not recommend on this basis.

  • 500/50? What happened to the 1000/50 plan?

    • That is the plan, but they cap the down speed so they don't have as much congestion, or people complaining that they can't reach gigabit.

don't forget that you need to call Superloop for cancellation and it's going to take you hours for waiting for them to answer your call.

  • My NBN is currently with TPG (don't really need ABB-quality at the moment) but am contemplating whether Superloop is better than TPG given similar pricing; the comments here seems to cast a shadow on Superloop… any comments / comparisons with TPG?

  • Wow, my Tangerine 6 months honeymoon ends this month and I was thinking of churning to Superloop. This thread makes me think again. Superloop used to be good only 6-12 months ago. What happened to them?

  • The discount code WOEX2022 gives me $10 discount (50/20 $59.95/) rather than a discount on the router. Without it, it is $69.95/M. Weird. I left SL less than 12 months ago.

After leaving Superloop to go back to Aussie Broadband, they started hounding me months later with debt collection emails and messages (with the wrong name on them) for a payment. My portal said nothing owed but they insisted I owed money so I paid over the phone. About 5 minutes later they called back and said it was a mistake and I would be refunded. They've pissed me off too much to use again.

To add to the already long list of complaints.

They are fine, until you need to resolve an issue. Had intermittent drop-outs. Calls took 2 hours to get through to someone, too bad if it's after 6pm because you won't get through until the next morning.

Moved to AussieBB, and got the issue sorted out (NBN Fault) and a $700 credit from NBN for the issue. Would never go back to superloop. I would normally go the cheapest option, but I'm left scarred by that experience.

  • Done most of the signup but its still showing the router at the $157 price point, I entered the deal code listed above anything else I need to have done? Does the discount get applied in the "cart" or something like that? I have never been with anyone other than ABB so I am definitely a new customer.

  • Gotta add to the not so great feedback with Superloop. Moved to them from Launtel (super solid FYI) on a 6 month promo as I was under the impression they were on par with Aussie Broadband. Experienced many drop outs within the 2 months I stayed, thought it was an issue on my end, as per the response I got from the support rep. Switched to Aussie Broadband instead and have had 0 drop outs nor reasons to call support.

If you work from home and a solid internet connection is important, it's worth paying the small difference for good service.

Wow! I thought it was me just me who had a painful experience contacting them. It used to be great now they are using COVID as their excuse for poor customer service.

  • Many people here supporting Aussie Broadband. When I check their standard rates its $79 for 50/20 plan where as superloop offers same plan for $10 less. Discounts are only for first 6 months so unless you keep switching every 6 months I see more value in Superloop. Yes there were few dropouts mid last year but that issue was resolved. I dont see any dropouts or reduce speeds during business hours and I can happly work from home.

  • So if I port from Superloop to another ISP, I actually have to cancel at superloop end or can I simply churn?

  • Horrible service, I recently connected with Superloop at a New development, they had no clue they had to organise ATD with NBN. I had to disconnect as they didn't understand the basic NBN connection requirement. Later they sent me an invoice for a service which never connected. CROOKS

  • OK I just signed up at a new rental property I'm about to move into. The place has FTTP so hopefully I don't experience too many issues as I can see from user feedback that it's not that easy to contact them. I'm willing to take the risk since the deal seems pretty good and I don't understand why so many people are ragging on it.

Sure the discount per month is the same as previously posted but $69/month for 100/20 speeds for 6 months plus an eero 6 router for $99 (which is listed as $157 if you sign up with them, but if you were to actually buy the router on Amazon it would set you back $229) is a pretty good deal IMHO. I needed a new router for this place and I can't find an equivalent AX1800 router for anywhere near this price.

    • how long did it take to get the router?

      • 2 days from shipped to PO awaiting collection.

I had an issue setting it up with an android device through the app but using an apple device it was set up no problem.

  • Just signed up, anyone know how long before they deliver the router?
another question to the ppl dropping out - which form of NBN do you guys have FTTP? FTTN? HFC?

    • Also just to share my experience I had to contact superloop as I had issues setting up the eero device and I was bracing for the worst.

I was connected to tech support in under 10 minutes and while the lady wasn't sure what was wrong (turned out to be an android compatibility issue with their app, stalls on setup), she was extremely helpful with troubleshooting and at the end of the day offered a replacement device if I couldn't get it working. Lucky I was able to research the issue and found that people had more success connection with an apple device through the app when encountering this issue.

Now fully setup I'm getting 107mbps on a 100/20 plan FTTP.

  • Superloop used to be nice. No complaints about NBN service, but their customer service is awful.

Used to recommend them, now not so much so.
