Sony 2021 A80J 65" OLED has just been discounted and seems to be the cheapest I could find.
It does have a shipping fee of $130 but you could also pick up in-store.

The 55" version is also discounted on various stores for $2495 on most stores but VideoPro seems to be the cheapest by $50

    I own this, excellent tv, Google TV is soooo much better than the old 'android tv' the old Sony's came with.

        It's been ~ 4 hrs now and I've heard nothing.

        I had the same TV in my cart from a few days ago with a reduction to $3445, I just submitted another price match request with my cart as it was - would that cause problems?

          From personal experience, having the same item already discounted in your cart will not affect the price match.

          They will keep updating your cart with better pricing as long as your price match requests are accepted.

      I tried a few hours ago when the webpage got pulled from tgg. Got rejected and a reply saying it falls under an exclusion of price match terms which is bull since a few other people got their price matches.

      They might just not want to sell at this price, it is their previous staff price my friend showed me before.

    65" A80J disappeared from both the TGG and JB websites this morning.

    Have been watching the price and stock (rather lack of any stock) for the last month and a bit.

    Went to TGG (DFO Moorabbin Vic), it had price tag $2795. Upon checking they said it's price error but will honor the price if we make an in-store order today. No stock though so it will go as backorder.

    Got my Sony price match approved just after 8am this morning. Took approx. 20hrs so if you’re still waiting don’t be alarmed. For reference; Only provided business name (Good Guys), price and date; no website links or pics.

    As others have pointed out, TV is now on back order. When I replied to facilitate the price match I asked if they have any ETA so if I get any info there I’ll report back…

        I'm so upset with myself not jumping earlier on the Sony price match, didn't even think of it as I was going to buy from TGG. My price match was declined and no begging helped :( Hopefully there will be another sale or price error soon before they disappear. If not I'll wait for the A80K whenever they come to Oz.

    I tried to price match with 2 accounts on the day, around lunch time after link just got taken down. Provided business name for 1, url for other price match. Both got declined.

    I think it's half luck when some people get approved or not. Also from experience when send a price match again soon after rejection, they don't even reply.

    Just got mine delivered yesterday from Sony through Startrack. Had to monitor tracking because they didn't call me for day of delivery. The picture quality is amazing, slowly getting used to the semi-gloss screen. Mine is in a bright room, and the TV brightness is not an issue for me.

    Sony never responded to the TGG price match but I remembered I had access to Sony staff pricing so I went with that. Got it for my folks today to upgrade them off their 55" 1080p TV that's over 10 yrs old. Definitely an upgrade from that. In a dark room, the true blacks of OLEDs blow everything else away.
