According to the TGA, this test is 'Acceptable Sensitivity'

    https://www.tga.gov.au/covid-19-rapid-antigen-self-tests-are….

    • Gus Fring opens packet: "That is acceptable"

Surely this is not a good price per RAT?

    • +1

Not when there are so many free ones available.

      • Sounds like you need Rentokil

  • This was $150 a few days ago

Even Aldi has kits at the check out now , seens the shortage is over ….and line at my local PCR testing station is almost non existant …. my sone got some from school , and they won't be testing forever ……….

When should these RATS listing go the away of hand sanitizer ?

    • I was just thinking this, went to the servo today, sign on door saying they have plenty of RAT test, went to woolies and they have an entire shelf for them (previously they were kept behind counter) and chemist is stocked up.. pretty sure in the next 2 weeks people will be flogging them off for less then $5 a test

      • socket deal at liquorland is but 6 pack of craft beer get a coops xia for free …..soon it will be buy 6 pack of craft beet get a rats kit for free ….

  • -1

sorry, how many covid infections are you people planning to have that you need 20 tests?
I had 6 by DEC , now i got 2 , and thats after i gave one away aswell.

y'all go through them like lollies or>?

    • +3

Good for large families or people who visit aged care facilities / immunocompromised people.

Either way this is definitely not a deal.

    • +2

Um some people have, you know, familes, friends, colleagues, staff, people they need to look after. Of course it's ok if you're only interested in yourself…

      • +1

other people? that's a wack concept.

    • read as

had six infections and gave one infection away

      swab like lollipops

    Cheaper here, $90 for 10 tests (2 packs of 5 tests) https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/114087/RightSign-COV…
The discount is applied after adding to cart. Free shipping.

And Clugene from the other deal (like mentioned above) is even cheaper.

  • +3

Why people would buy these tests these days! soon will be offered for next to none like the sanitizers.

  • +2

you litterally link the same thing cheaper from another seller in your post???

    • -1

      Yeah, what's wrong with you?

  • +2

It remains to be seen how effective these current tests will be detecting the next variant of covid-19.
That said, it bemuses me to see how many follow the government and corporate rhetoric that we're at the tail end of the pandemic.

If only that were true. I think I'll hold onto my small stock in case one day they stop me having to queue 5 hours for a test

  • Well that’s cool and all but we got 10 for free so…insane how expensive these are in a pandemic

  • -3

Poor rating from TGA.Made in Australia means poor quality compare to made in China .

  • +2

Poor rating and not a deal, much cheaper linked already.
    This is no Oz advertising.

  • +1

How do we get free ones?

  • Ozadvertising

I still cant believe the Australian government is still allowing these ridiculous prices to go ahead.

My relatives in Asian countries pay like $3-5 for a test kit.

We are supposed to be a 1st world country yet its citizens can't even afford an essential test kit.

    F%^king bs Australian government !!!

    • +3

I paid $1.50 for a bottle of beer in Bali. I can't believe the Aust government let restaurants here get away with charging us $10. How dare they deny their citizens the right to access cheap grog? ;-)

  • No thanks !! It was a deal a month back.. not now

  • Also available for $160 @Pharmacy Delivered via Amazon AU

Why is this deal still posted then?

    • Trying to take it down since then

      • Why don't you make it a deal and beat the price?
RAT price is crashing… I wouldn't want to be stuck with them
