Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Over Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones $348 Delivered @ Home Clearance

60

May be cheaper elsewhere but this is the cheapest I have noticed.

Everyone is different but these are superior in terms of sound to Bose and Sony imo. Noise cancellation not quite on par, but good enough for me.

From Bowers & Wilkins, the masters of audio excellence, comes the PX7 noise-cancelling wireless headphones. The PX7 sees intuitive digital technologies combined with world-class sound engineering.

Incredible quality sound is delivered by large 43mm drivers for sound that is pushed forward with clarity. The drivers are built and tuned by the same engineers behind the Bowers & Wilkins speakers used in the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Adaptive noise cancelling technology automatically responds to your environment, always immersing you at the centre of your music.

The PX7 wireless headphones give you 30 hours of uninterrupted tunes on a single charge. If that wasn’t enough, a mere 15-minute quick charge gives you five more hours. Need to hear the next train station announcement? Just lift an ear cup to hear what’s happening and the music will automatically stop. Put it back and your music will continue where it left off. Inspired by race cars, the arms of the PX7 are built from woven carbon fibre composite, which mimic the strength of the world’s fastest vehicles, so they hold up against wear and tear.

  • I love Bowers and Wilkins. But I don't know why they'd make a fabric body…. I'm sure they'd just start to look dirty after a few months

    • I own the B&W PX (the predecessor to the current series), it has the same amount of fabric and has no marks after 4 years. I also have the B&W P3 in white somewhere, and they looked terrible within half of that time.

      • Interesting, that's more reassuring - Would you use this for your home PC or just travelling?

        • +1

I use the PX for travelling mainly. I have a number of different headphones and the PX are definitely up there as some of the best. Negatives are they are big (although all the true competitors are too), the leather pads can get sweaty, you can’t wear sunglasses with them, and the microphones are terrible.
Positives are the sound quality is outstanding (like all B&W products I have heard), the noise cancelling works very well, they pause when you remove them. I have also never had so many compliments and questions from strangers as they just look like amazing quality.
I’m sure the PX7s are even better and I’m seriously considering getting them as I’ve worn the battery out of the PX as I pick them over others so often.

Sound quality is amazing on these headphones, loved mine but had to settle for in ear headphones due to wearing glasses. Still miss the sound quality of this headphone, and at this price, its a good bargain.

Have the previous gen of these The PX’s and they are great! Not the most comfortable (feel a bit like they are clamping your head) but sound quality tops my MX4’s, also the auto pause feature works much better when you take them off

I also have the PX, used for travel and playing games on the PC. No notable marks on my set after a couple of years. Great sound. They do clamp your head pretty tight though!

Interestingly in terms of noise cancellation, PX is much superior to PX5 & PX7

  • Now $348, very good price.
