all of a sudden.. none of my friends plays this anymore….

    • seems like every one of my kids friends got a Switch for Christmas, and got Animal Crossing…

  • Is this an Amazon deal, or are they price matching someone?

I just randomly came across it on Amazon so I'm not sure, but a quick search now shows that Harvey Norman also has it at $48

  • would this come factory sealed in plastic when you buy from amazon? i want to buy it as a birthday present but if it doesn't come sealed, i might choose a different game

    • Not sealed with all switch games I bought from Amazon, not even the pre-order Pokémon Legends Arceus.

From what I've gathered from other OzB users is that the first couple runs of Switch games don't come sealed. Later ones should come sealed.

        • This is correct.

Nintendo Australia gets the carts from Nintendo Europe and then quickly prints off their own covers. They do not seal copies because they are rushing them out to get released on time.

After a few runs, if they aren't scrambling to catch up on demand, they begin to seal games.

    • I don't think any first party Nintendo games come sealed anymore. At least in Australia. The only sealed ones I get have been 3rd party titles.

      Happy to be wrong though!

Well your happiness is very important to me so I'd best let you know I purchased Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Switch last week from Amazon and it was sealed.

Mine came in yesterday from Amazon, was sealed.

    • HN normally got switch games sealed. Was a bit drama with them when they sold to me not sealed and I decided to return, they said no return bcoz it wasn't seal 😒
I had to fight with them to the manager.

    • I received my order today and it was factory sealed.

  • Looks like no more stock 😔

WTF the matter with AMZ I opened a satchel with a switch game from the Black Friday sales and the game was not sealed and didn't have any pamphlet inside .
    Just a cover and cartridge.

    • This isn't an issue with Amazon. Very few Switch games include any kind of manual, pamphlet or anything. Some indie games will include miniature "art books" and that'll be it.
First party Nintendo games are also often not sealed in Australia for whatever reason.

  • Bought it from bigw for $69 Judy two days ago. What option do I have to get the difference back?

  • 38 now, won't let me make a new post, I will just leave a comment here.
