    • For girthy feet only.

    • dang, i have normal feet. good deal though.

Absolutely sucks having to try find a shoe with a wide fit, this is one of those rare ops! thanks OP!

Absolutely sucks having to try find a shoe with a wide fit

I'm guessing you rarely look at New Balance then?

      • +1

        Correct, I prfer UA personally

        • +5

New Balance have a big range of 2E and 4E widths

        • Check out Asics.. Nimbus

        • Just careful what models you get 2E in different models is massively different as I've found out myself.

    • +2

That's why I only wear New Balance, better than D'ing around with other brands. (And I'm not far from the factory outlet store.)

  • Thanks OP, grabbed a pair.

  • +1

Good shoes. Comfy, light and affordable.

  • Thanks OP

  • +4

Finally something on sale that can fit my girth

  • +2

What is "free gift card delivery"?

    • +1

If you buy a gift card, it is eligible for free shipping. Does not apply to shoes

      • lmao i pressed that, i guess we'll see what happens

        • Me too. I paid $35 with free shipping. Will see….

        • +1

          did the same haha

          • +2

@CodeXD: profile picture matches the comment

          • @CodeXD: I got my tracking number from Auspost!

        • update! i got mine today!

      • I chose this option as well.

I just hope they send the actual shoes rather than an empty box with a $35 NB gift card.

    • +3

This is one of the dumbest things I've seen from a large retailer.

      • +3

New Balance does every stupid thing in the book - stacking codes, pricing errors, nearly free vouchers with parking. It's the reason I have so much New Balance gear.

    • Me too. Bought one with free gift card delivery. No idea what that is to be honest!

      • +1

They will probably ship us a $35 gift card in a empty shoebox.

        • +1

uhh I hope not lol. I couldn't help but clicked on the free gift card delivery option as well, even though I wouldn't have mind paying the $10 delivery to try out the shoe haha.

          • +1

@username999: I just received an email order confirmation thingy. Definitely shipping the shoes with free shipping.
So basically i paid $25 for a pair of NB. Awesome.

            • @mckayver: I received shipping confirmation too, the billing address is listed, but the shipping address is blank. Is yours listed?

            • @mckayver:

So basically i paid $25 for a pair of NB. Awesome.

Damn! How did you get that extra $10 off? Or, typo?

              • @DoctorCalculon: I think he meant given delivery is meant to be $10 and managed to get it free through the gift card option, the shoes worked out to be $25.

                • -1

                  @Craze: The shoes are $35 + $10 delivery.

                  • @CodeXD: I am with you 100%, Mr @CodeXD.

That was the most ridiculous explanation I have ever read, if there was one.

Neggers - the shoes themselves cost $35. Getting free shipping does not mean you have received a $10 discount.

Unless a $10 coupon code was used on top of this deal?

                    • @DoctorCalculon: I didn't neg you (or CodeXD), and while I also agree that's not the right logic but merely guessing what was implied due to mackayver's comment "Definitely shipping the shoes with free shipping.
So basically i paid $25 for a pair of NB. Awesome."

    • I ordered one with that option too, hopefully it will not be cancelled! Or at least the size will be in stock so I can order it again XD

    • My order has been shipped through this way. Hahaha

  • Thanks OP ordered 3 pairs to get free shipping.

  • +1

Now Size 7-14. Ozbargainers have big feet. Got to get in quick :)

    • I was so excited till then :(

  • +3

I miss the days when we'd get 50% off on top of the sale :(

  • +2

Got these in black last time they were on stupid price sale. Big toe comes through the top of the shoe after about a month or so. But pretty comfortable for my wide foot.

    • +2

I have the Big Toe issue on 680 or 690's I got too.. same as mate with same model shoe and it doesnt take long to happen either

      • +1

Someone else said the same thing on the 413 last time it was posted. I think I'll give these a miss

      • I got this on my NB Fresh Foams a few years ago too after a couple of hundred km's. Oh well, the rest of the shoe still worked fine.

      • Same issue with the 880's. Has happened on multiple pairs of mine. Have not had this happen on any other brand of footwear but I stick with NB for their widths.

        • My mate who has the same issue just got the V7 ones recently and says he hasnt had the toe issue - yet…

    • +2

Stick a piece of duct tape from inside before you start wearing the shoes. It works for me.

      • +2

shouldnt have to on a pair of shoes they charge 150 for. shouldnt have to on 35 bux shoes… ;)

  • Thanks OP. Grab one. :)

  • Thanks Op! Got 3 pairs for myself and 2 sons.

    • +10

I can't see where to add sons to cart.

      • +1

        No stork delivery option either.

      • +1

        Hahaha … funny

  • New Balance website is possibly the worst. Just a matter of time before they get hacked.
For example: when you create a new account, no email verification is required.

  • 20% student discount. PM me if you need a code

    • +1

Doesn't seem to work (on clearance items) nor does the newsletter sign up code.

    • +1

      doesn't work on discounted items

  • Amazing. New Balance are the only shoes I wear because of their Wide Fit and easy availability. These look great. Ordered a pair. Thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP, I don't usually buy shoes but this is an awesome deal with a wide fit!

    • What do you usually wear on your feet?

      • +1

"Real men" wear banana peels to fully master walking in ANY situation.

  • Thanks OP, needed a pair of casual running shoes so this is perfect!

  • Good deal OP, but man the site is really buggy. Or is it just me?

  • damn should've bought my size while i was on my Zoom meeting … now sold out!

    • damn how long did your zoom meeting go for…

      • 1.5hrs

  • No 12's :(

  • Only 7 - 8.5 left.

  • Just received an email saying, "We've shipped your order via Free Gift Card Delivery"
    What does this even mean?

    • What do you mean? You selected the option when you made the purchase.

      • yup. yesterday I did that.

        • -2

That was your shipment. The Free Gift Card Delivery option is there so they can send you a digital gift card.

You ordered shoes using the same delivery method, so they presumably emailed you a picture of the shoes. Enjoy your shoes!

          • @MorriJ:

so they presumably emailed you a picture of the shoes

LOL! It reminds of me of the thread where some guy was duped into buying an iPhone cutout. When he opened the box after the sale, it just contained a perfect cutout of the actual iPhone in place.

          • @MorriJ: lol!! we'll see :)

  • I got all excited until I saw they were out of 14 wides. Sad stoob.

  • Received mine today! $35 + free delivery by choosing "gift card delivery".

Shoes are super light and thin, but very comfortable. Gonna try the duct tape method cos I can see the same thing happening to me.

  • Received mine today as well. Thanks OP.

Does anyone know if shoes expand over time? I have had issues with shoes lately and despite ordering a half a size up from my old NB shoes, they still feel a tiny bit small. Not sure if wearing them will stretch them a bit over time or if I should try shoving socks or something inside to see if they will stretch a tiny bit.

  • Received mine today. I didn't expect a lot considering the money shelled out but I wish I had of kept it in my pocket. What a cheap piece of crap shoe. I can't believe NB produce this crap. A $5 pair from Kmart would be better.

    • -1

      I concur. Very thin material.

      • -2

Lol, it's a training shoe, it's supposed to be lightweight hence the synthetic / mesh upper.

I'll just bet you guys thought you had a new pair to wear along with your loose jeans, right?

        • -1

Huh? These are only good as a casual dress shoe. A training shoe should offer some foot support and be more durable.

          • @bitcoinorbust: "Lightweight and versatile, the New Balance 413 is an ideal everyday trainer. The mesh upper promotes airflow and features a midfoot saddle to improve fit and stability."

It's a cheap trainer, but a trainer all the same. There's plenty of more expensive running shoes with this similar material on the upper too. I know you lot wear runners casually though, with jeans, etc. I know what site I'm on. Just putting perspective around this.

  • Is this the worlds first paper based shoe? it feels like it. Without the new balance tag you would think this is a $10 kmart sneaker. Free return form in the box though which is nice.

    • Received this today- agree with everyone else was surprised to see how thin material was! I'm still undecided if I'll return it or give it to dad for his casual daily walks.

  • these shoes are so thin its not even worth my $35 dollars that i got free shipping with, am definitely returning them.

    • -2

They shouldn't give you a refund. Clearly you purchased something before understanding it's purpose, 'it's cheap, I can't miss out', right? This is a training shoe, lots of them have this material on the upper.

      • clearly you dont understand the purpose of ozbargainers, yes its cheap, and usually not shit.

        • Unless it comes to junk food though, right? Clearly the worst food on sale but all that most talk about here on the topic.

      • Do you even own a pair? The quality of these shoes is inferior to my nike. Unsure why you're so butthurt and defensive over a pair of shoes…

There's a reason why these were on clearance and still available.
