Canon EOS 60D Digital SLR Camera - Twin Lens Kit - $1088.00 + $49 Shipping to Liverpool, NSW

Found this one on staticice. I think this could be good deal, giving the facts that it's Australian online store (not Hong Kong based), they have office and ware house in Sydney (that's what they said on their web site).

  • Bad idea. It's not going to come from an Australian warehouse, it will be shipped direct from Hong Kong and you're at their mercy for warranty. Also, it's $1000+ so you either pay customs duty, or cross your fingers and hope that customs don't catch you while you deliberately break import laws.

    • It's grey import, so just level it up with other grey import web site like DWI. At least it has an Australian office and an Australian phone number that I can call.

    • You sure? The prices are GST inclusive and they've listed the ABN. I'd have thought if they were trading locally then they have to take on any customs costs.

  • thanks for the post, equally good deals out there however.

keep an eye out for other ones and keep the posts coming.

  • Sigh, cmon Canon, where's your 24MP Nikon killer.
Guess it's a decent deal for those given up waiting.

  • Harvey Norman offered it /single lens/ for $966 for couple of weeks recently.

  • Do yourself a favour and give the kit lenses a miss. Put the dollars towards a decent lense.

    • Agreed. Two lenses are a pain and one better lens will give you much better quality.
Price is a good indicator of the quality of the lens. There is a Canon 18-200 but I have not tried it.
