  • How long do the boost sims remain valid for? I wouldn't be able to use for three months.

Going by other sellers, the $300 one is by end March to get 280gb. Otherwise, it's 240gb. The deal is not that good. $232 from other sellers on eBay, and many have better ratings than this seller.

      • What is the cheaper option to recharge an existing Boost number for a year? These cannot be used for a recharge, only as a starter package? Thanks.

        • I didn't mention recharge, but to answer your question, I understand you can either port out with a cheap sim (eg Aldi), and back in again, or get the online chat team to help you out.

@a22andrew: I did this method using Vodafone as port out sim, and they held my number for a week before port back to Boost.
Pls avoid Vodafone as port out option

@toommy: I ported out of boost to voda and was back to boost in less than 24hrs. This was a month ago, Sounds like you had really bad luck.

There was a deal that recently sold out for $213 or something for the $300 Sim

    First two links don't work

Officeworks price match this (so 5% less than $156 = $148.20 for the $200 SIM) - just had to grab one as the missus's SIM expires in two days while I am away (and it's in my name). Boost chat set it up with the $200 welcome deal so 140GB. Old SIM went dead, new SIM, new number, old number swapped over, magic. SIM in Officeworks had a 28 March 2022 expiry so check before you buy, just in case.

A bit disrespectful to suggest OW price beat in a Rep's post.

    • Just to clarify, did you get this 'welcome sim' applied to existing boost service without porting in and out? How/what did you ask in chat?

    • +8

Yes you can get it cheaper via a price beat through a major department store. Alternatively we can encourage and support small businesses and be grateful they are giving us these prices. Getting stores to price beat will destroy small businesses posting these deals which ultimately ends with higher pricing and less competition.

  • Hey OP, how do i go about picking this up in Adelaide? Do i just purchase it online or can i come instore to get it from you?

  • Expiry of SIMs?

  • Where is the link for the 280gb gone? Has this expired?

  • Hey op is the $200 one gone? I am an existing boost customer. Do I have to wait for the new Sim to come to activate it or can I just use the code to recharge? Thanks

    • As I know, you cannot recharge with a prepaid sim. You have to port out with another carrier cheap sim. Then you can port back using the Boost sim. It is like a reset.
Normally I would port out few days before my new Boost sim arrives at my door.

$1 cheaper with Simonline deal and free shipping.

Tiger code still works on this deal
