  • I’m theory I think you’re still better off using a credit card and putting your cash against the home loan

  • Has anyone else had problems getting their $100 bonus for depositing $2k for 3 months? I messaged them and they said they are aware of the issue but gave no timeframe of when it would be fixed. Interested to know if anyone else had the same issue and if it has already been resolved for them.

    • Not surprised. I'm still waiting for March cashback. They repeatedly said 7/14 days then changed to has been escalated but the team dealing with it have decided to ignore it and we will escalate again but there's no time frame.
They have fixed the system issue now do transactions/cashback are now being processed automatically like they should, but there's a massive backlog that they appear to (not) be processing manually.
I will also add that the communication over this whole issue has been awful.
I can no longer recommend them, but hang in there if you already have it as I'm sure they will get round to giving us all the cashback eventually!

  • does online apple pay no longer qualify for 2%?

    • Nothing online has ever qualified as far as I'm aware.
You only get it in stores when tapping card or phone.

      • it used to about 2 years ago, because I don’t think it could distinct between online apple pay and instore, but now maybe it can

        • Its hard to find merchants who accept online apple pay. What did you come across?

  • Has the $100 sign up deal linked in the deal expired? I believe it has but want to confirm before I sign up otherwise I might wait for the bonus $100 to come back

  • great

  • Hey guys. Just signed up and deposited 2k into the account.

Transfer in is instant but when i tried to take 1k out back to my main back, its still has not processed.

How slow is the transfer out at HSBC? I transfer out on Saturday morning (Right after midnight Friday). Do I need to wait until Monday? Seems ancient this bank…

    • Yes, probably you have to wait til Sunday at least. No Osko as far as I know. It usually takes 12 hours plus for me when I transfer my money out of there.

    • Yes, that's the worst thing about hsbc, no instant transfers, no weekend tranafers, no after-hours transfers.

  • Just opened an account and jumped to the boat
