Well Home Loans Refer-A-Friend Program: $250 Credit for Referee & $250 Gift Card for Referrer

110

Hi,

I'm in the process of signing up for a loan with Well and saw they also have a referral bonus.

Thought that was pretty good. I obviously don't have one yet, but good for anyone else who wants a great loan rate.
They also do 100% offset for fixed and or variable rates for $10 a month which I thought was pretty cool to have for the fixed rate.

Referrer:
$250 (Gift Card)

Referee
$250 (Credit)
Your friend will save as we’ll take this amount off their home loan application fees.

How to get referring?
It’s really simple to refer your friends. A few steps is all it takes.

  1. Get your code
Your personalised referral code will be in your email or SMS messages.

  2. Tell your friends, Share your code with your friends and let them know that they must be a new customer. Refer as many as you want too!

  3. Joining the family
During your friends application, the last step will ask for a code. This is where they enter the code you gave them.

  4. Everyone's happy! At settlement, not only has your friend got a great home loan, you’ll get notified about your rewards. Everyone’s happy!

Q: Where do I find my personalised refer-a-friend code?

Once you’ve settled on your home loan, you will have received an email and an sms with your very own refer-a-friend code. If you’ve just settled, it can take a few days for your code to be sent out. If you’re in a hurry to help a friend out, then let us know and we can get it to you asap.

At any time Well reserves the right to suspend, terminate or amend the WellRewards Refer-a-Friend program without notice. Any referral that we deem, in our absolute discretion, to be unlawful, unreasonable, at risk of requiring the referrer to require an Australian Credit Licence or for any other reason that we believe is not in the spirit of our program, may not be honoured.

  • How do these guys compare to Athena? Thinking about refinancing

  • variable here still lower, just has less of social media presence lol

  • Referral set up. Deal set as long running, note that Int. rates will change over time so the rates have been removed from the title.

  • No codes in the referral links yet. Anyone have a code?

  • Not yet won't get one until my mortgage is finalised. Sorry!

  • OMG guys, I take back my recommendation! everything was smooth sailing, and going great, now all of a sudden after I signed a document agreeing to the rates and loan splits, they're insisting I pay a 30% deposit because my apartment in a 3 story building is "high density" because its has 68 apartments over 4 buildings and half a hectare of land…. It's not mentioned anywhere on their website, was never mentioned in the prior discussions and the Victorian Planning Authority clarified when I asked, that a high density building is a building with 5 or more floors.
apparently it's an Adelaide Bank (their backer) policy, but Adelaide bank couldn't confirm this, and when I asked another bank that's backed by Adelaide Bank, they also said my building is fine.
Well's insisting I was misinformed, but wont show me their policy, because "it's an internal only document"

  • I added my code, enjoy

  • Added my code. Works well enough, but the low lvr deal is no longer active?
