Brought these, don’t know how bright these are but reviews seem decent if you are after a budget pair of lights.

I would get these, except nowadays I go to sleep as soon as the sun goes down, so they won’t get any use.

A Strontex light deal not not posted by the rep, now I’ve seen everything.

Edit: oh, rep is finally banned I see

      Thank goodness. Ridiculous spam.

And yet, here it is again as a "bargain" post.

With tons of up votes this time too.

It reads like a grassroots deal with an OP who is happy with the deal. That will attract upvotes.

@JSONBourne: So it's basically sockpuppeting but with more steps.

Pretty sure I have the same ones, bought from Aldi though, they work well for casual use.

The only bike light to get.

These are ok for the price, the USB ports are fragile so be warned if getting these for kids.
The light is just bright enough to light the way…. just but they make you quite visible on the road.

These lights are fairly rubbish and only suitable for being the second light sources to your prime, superior lights. Don't rely on these to save light your paths at night or be visible from cars.

  • I also have the same ones bought from Aldi.Theyre good and bright enough as my daily running lights. Batteries last me about 2-3 hours. For night use I have my old Ayup bullet lights which are awesome

Good light but very problematic USB port. Mine have broken as have many others who have reported it here. They don’t seem to last.

I’d go for another brand. This is a regular price anyway.

    • Any recommendations at this price range?

I genuinely thought this was a good deal. When I looked at the reviews they seem to be quite positive so thought was a good deal when it’s marked as 50+% off. Camelx3 also hasn’t been this low for a while.

      • I recently bought these and they've been quite good - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0881MW4ZR/ref=ppx_yo_d…

The rear light is an unbranded Rockbros light which are usually very high quality.

        • The reviews aren’t too good on these ones in comparison. I guess at this price point you can’t expect high quality stuff on either of them.

          • @roofyapple: Exactly right. If you’re after quality and can afford a bit more I recommend the Rockbros brand on AliExpress. It has a big following on Reddit as a good white label option.

The lights in the OP are good, just they die around the 12 month mark. The USB connection detaches from the main board internally so you can’t charge them anymore.

  • Does anyone know of either a USB type C rechargeable set or otherwise standard AA or AAA compatible set?
