        So after logging into Paypal and seeing the price of $0.98, and pressing "Continue", we still get a chance to put in coupon code afterwards?

        Note that I am talking about "check out with Paypal" rather than "secure checkout"

          I used PayPal checkout (not the "secure checkout" button) and had no problem with applying the coupon. It was on the left hand side of the screen. Not sure which screen you're on so can't tell you if it's safe to press Continue.
          The option is definitely there. If in doubt: CTRL+F and then type "coupon". If it's not on the page you're on, it will be on the next (but before you confirm the order).

          Thanks Walter, you gave me the confidence to go ahead, and sure enough there was a TINY text saying "Coupon?" which allowed me to put the coupon before confirming. It works!

      Yeah I paid a few dollars for one off a chinese gadget site as well and it was pretty dodgy with only like 2 out of 5 of the ribbed edges. When I attempted to use it the 2 ribs that were left on it just flaked away.

      For 1 cent it's worth a shot though.

      You'd be surprised how many things require non-standard screwdrivers to open these days - take USB drive enclosures by Samsung for example.

      Very handy to have a screwdriver to open them…

        I'm pretty sure they would include one with the enclosure if it's a non standard screwdriver.

        I'm just wondering if people would have bought this if it was $1 instead of 1c. Did they buy it because it was 1c or because they need it?

        Normally if something is protected by this kind of screw, the manufacturers really don't want you playing with its insides, and unless you're trained in electronics, you probably should get someone else to do it. Of course, if you do have experience with soldering, fuse replacement etc, you likely have one of these already.

    The item I received today cannot possibly be described as a screwdriver. It is pointy, perhaps similar to what Hilal referred to on 24th April. This is not a complaint, since the price barely exists. I suppose I may find a use for it somehow.
