        What about GST?
They like to trick people with that.

        • GST HAS CB with SHOPBACK!

        • Good point, is the min spend including or excluding GST? Min spend $165 to be on the safe side

        • +4

I can confirm that this is $150 including GST to get 15% Cashback.
So as long as your cart has $150+, you will receive 15%.

          Cheers!

          • @gotyourback: that's not what happened to my purchased last time? GST no cb on bigw toy purchases

            • @CDG: That shouldn't have happened.
Could you send me a DM with your account email so I can take a look for you?

              • +2

@gotyourback: my apologies, i just checked, i mixed up with C reward and shopback, they dont have GST you guys do

          • @gotyourback: Thanks for confirming!

          • @gotyourback: I got A$27.14 cashback on $199 purchase.
            15% of 199 is 29.85
So, my cashback was on GST excluded amounts.

            • +3

@rick5042: That's correct, the Cashback rate is always excluding GST because we do not get paid a commission on the value of GST.
However, the minimum spend is inclusive of GST.

              Cheers!

    • And if they cancel one item? You might need to play it safe and make sure you go above the min - but how much more is anyone's guess.

  • Is it only ‘genuine switch products’?

If it’s non genuine switch controllers that Big W sell, I’d that illegible?

  • Hi how about for pre order items, due to ship end of this month?

    • That'll be fine, as long as it's paid upfront today :)

  • -3

This essentially means if you buying between $127.5-$150, you are loosing money from not getting enough CB.

Only really makes sense to spend extra $$ if you are already going to be buying something for like $125+, (and the rest $25 ish you can consider for free but upfront payment)

    • -1

LOL seriously its a $150 + spend or nothing !
I'm not sure why your talking about below and wasting everyone's time :)

      • -1

If you spent $150, you will get like $22.5 cashback, Hence if you spend 127.5 you are loosing money or on items that you could have gotten for free (with CB).

Edit:- SB will deduct GST from CB. :( so like $20.45 CB, hence like $130.65 -$150 you are loosing money

        • I'm aware of getting 13.5% after GST but it still kicks a normal 5% off gift card a$$ .

    • Cashback is ineligible for purchases made with any gift card as a payment method

    Boring.

  • Cashback tracked straight away. Hopefully no issues later… I recall there were some problems with the last Big W cashback?

    • I'm still waiting for my cashback from Big W (should have been approved 24th February), after having a $30 cashback on a $1,000 Lego purchase made in November declined, and now not having my Big W cashback approved, I'm becoming very sceptical of shopback.

      • What was the reason for the $30 decline? My cashback are always honoured by ShopBack hence asking.

      • +2

Hi @TycoonGT, there was an issue with validation on a batch of orders from Big W between November & December.
This isn't something ShopBack directly controls, as the brand/affiliate network validates the commission payment for us to approve the Cashback.

Since being made aware of the issue, our team have flagged this with Big W and are working with them to fix it.

You can always reach out to me directly if you need assistance on Cashback related issues - referring to your $30 Cashback rejection.

        Cheers!

  • Mobile phones eligible then?

  • Not a bad deal on the newly released LEGO Technic McLaren https://www.bigw.com.au/product/lego-technic-mclaren-formula…

Calc works out to be $224.035 after cash back.

  • Cashback is ineligible for purchases made with any gift card as a payment method

This takes away my further 5% discount straight away. No good.

  • Hi @gotyourback,
I noticed that the ShopBack Chrome extension icon doesn't turn green after BigW activated. It does turn green for EBay.com.au.
Does that mean it isn't working for me on BigW site?
    Thanks.

    • All good. I ordered anyway last night, and soon (40min) ShopBack CB confirmation Email came in.
