[PC] Darkwood $5.69, Mousecraft $6.99, Lichtspeer $7.79, Bonkies $10.79, Butcher $7.02 @ GOG

50

Update: GOG has extended this promotion's end date through to Saturday March 5th 6:00AM AEST, so its still actively running as I type this.

  • NOTE: This War Of Mine and Slipways were originally included in this promotion but they been removed, as their week-long discounts have recently ended and they are back to full price.

GOG has expanded their initiative to include additional games - Darkwood, Mousecraft, Lichtspeer, Bonkies, Butcher - for their earlier announcement of donating all profits from This War Of Mine (Twitter post) and Slipways (Twitter post) games sales accrued in the past few days, to humanitarian aid efforts for the victims of the war in Ukraine.

As more studios have been following the movement started by 11 Bit Studios, and giving some of their profit to charities supporting Ukrainians in their time of need, we shall continue to help as much as we may. Adding to This War of Mine and Slipways, which we have supported from the beginning, we will support more of the studios that joined in on the action. So we shall donate our share of the profit from the list of games on this page to support humanitarian aid for victims in Ukraine, for 24H, until the 3rd of March at 8pm CET. Many of these games have also been discounted to allow as many people as possible to participate.

Darkwood game developer Acid Wizard's Twitter statement:

All profits from Darkwood sales across all platforms between 24 February and 8 March will be donated to The Ukrainian Red Cross to help those affected by the conflict.

  • NOTE: This is a flash sale that will be ending soon, Friday March 4th 5:00am AEST Saturday March 5th 6:00AM AEST

  • Can vouch for This War Of Mine - fantastic game, if a bit bleak for these times.

Darkwood is one of my favorite games and I normally hate horror (Usually watch playthroughs on youtube instead of playing them myself) It's got some really well thought out designs both in gameplay systems and art-style, well, well worth it for $6.
Highly recommended and supports an important cause, a no-brainer in my opinion.
