Just bought these last week for $139 at JB Hi-Fi and I'm loving them.

Great sounding and comfortable true wireless earbuds. Can't really go wrong with Jabra.

Edit: Thanks to CoreNex for clarifying that the order will be fulfilled by B&O One Year Warranty, not Amazon AU.

Mod Edit: Updated the deal link from B&O One Year Warranty Seller $110 (0 Ratings, not fulfilled by Amazon) to Amazon AU for $117.75.

Be a tad careful, the linked item is sold by B&O One Year Warranty, not Amazon AU. The Amazon version is $117.45

Worth the extra $7.45, I say.

    • The Jabra ELite 3 are $118 delivered on Amazon AU - which is better?

      • +2

You can get 3 for $80 or so if you have the good guys commercial

      • +2

It does depend on what you want most. If battery life, then the 3. The 3 has a slight hissing/white noise which will bother some people.

As to sound, some people will prefer the 75s and they have EQ customisation.

        • Yeah, the Jabra 75/85s are kind of annoying as I believe if you want to use just one headphone, you can only use the right, which is the master or must use both.

I didn't know this was a thing coming over from airpods, but it's actually really annoying to not have this feature.

  • I have returned two of these and on my third pair. Got a extended warranty at JB hi Fi. Both times right earphone stopped working (or left) but I still think there great. I paid 199 over a year ago

    • I don’t have this model, but sometimes I find that one of the ears is really quiet.

To fix it I just need to use a pin to clean out the external microphone and it seems fine again.

    • I had the exact same issue, right earbud would always become faulty with the volume dropping to the point of being un-hearable. Happened within 5-6 months, tried everything to fix it, nothing helped. Returned them twice, got a full refund on the second time. A shame since they are good earphones.

      • +1 to those issues, I'm on my second set and it happened again literally 3 days ago… They are great when they work, but the same issue twice is worrying and I don't even use them that much, just for calls for work.

JB Extended warranty for portable audio is the best warranty in the nation

      • +3

Better than the Australian Consumer Law?

        • Well one call will have your issues resolved by the time you make it to the shop so if you have issues at work, you can stop off on your way home and start the next day like nothing ever happened

  • +4

I had these for 6 months and they are great, nice and deep bass. Have even gone through the wash + dryer in their case, still work fine.

  • Awesome pair of earphones. These are my daily driver for Teams calls and music. I don’t take very good care but these have been very forgiving!

    • How's the battery go for teams meetings?

      • +1

        I don’t know how frequently I charge ( maybe that’s a sign they don’t drain that fast.. lol )
I think Once a week is a good guess. When I get low battery alert, I just connect the box to the charger so the headphones are charged back later when I’m done.

  • Finally price for 75t has come down a bit. Nice

I was very happy with the pair I bought from TGG last June, so I bought another pair from Amazon in Dec for $105 (from Amazon UK via Amazon Australia). It turned out to be a counterfeit. Amazon refunded it without any question asked.

I am not sure if I should buy it again on Amazon…

    • +3

Depends on the seller. If Amazon themselves is the seller, chances of getting counterfeit items are very low. 3rd party sellers on the other hand, I wouldn't risk it.

  • Would these Elite versions still be OK for the gym and going for runs? Or should you definitely be buying the Active version? I can't imagine that much sweat comes out of my ears but, who knows lol

    • apparently the active version has better microphones

    • I have had them for a few months and they have been ok going on runs

    • I have the 65t elite and have absolutely drenched them in sweat, ran in the rain and dropped them into the sink filled with water and they are still running fine. I think the active just have a higher IPU rating if they went for a deeper swim/longer period in water.

  • Damn I literally bought these off Amazon a week ago for $139. Has anyone had any luck getting a price difference refund before?
Edit: just got off their online chat and no dice. I'll have to return and re-order which is such a waste of everyone's time.

    • Just buy at the new price and return the new item with the first receipt? Amazon have a 30 day guarantee (I actually called to check this last week because I was interested in the active 75ts)

      • Yep I will be doing that. I just despair at the waste of time and effort on everyone's behalf when I would have been happy with even a partial Amazon credit. Oh well.

        • Chat to support, they've refunded me the difference in the past!

          • @sleepyowl: Same here… I told Amazon rep that I'm happy to buy and return to get the price difference and if that's what they advise then its what I'll do. I stated to the Amazon person this is a stupid suggestion and if they wanted to waste their company's resources to pay for shipping then the returns and then do the sorting of refunds I'll do it. I ask them to check with their manager that this advice was indeed correct, and at that point they checked with their supervisor and gave me Amazon store credit equivalent to the difference. Frame it this way and see how you go… Amazon doesn't want to waste their time and money either, as well as the environmental impact.

  • Thanks, bought a pair.
Nearly bought them at 139 last week also. Glad I waited!

Another pair of earphones added to my growing collection….

  • Bought one. thanks!

  • How are these if you are laying on your pillow on the side?

    • Very uncomfortable. When either side is touched by the pillow or loosen from your ears, your music stops.

    • They stick out so I would imagine.. terrible

      • Thank you for the response

  • I've had these headphones for over a year and they are great for music and have strong bass. The only complaint I've had is when I'm on calls people complain the background sound is super loud, especially when I'm outdoors.

    • Yeah, common complaint. I suspect the mic has to be sensitive because it is so far away. I now avoid phone calls in loud areas. Otherwise, these earphones are all round great.

Good product. I bought it over a yr ago from JB HiFi at $199.
I think you can register the device in Jabra app to get an extended warranty(2yrs) from the [manufacturer] (https://www.jabra.com.au/supportpages/jabra-elite-active-75t…).

    • Yep, but I believe the warranty only applies to dust and water damage (with whatever crazy terms and conditions they may have for that)

  • +1

Have had both, if you can get the 85s over these they are quite a bit better. Still decent though for sure

  • How come CamelCamelCamel doesn’t show the price I bought mine in December?
I bought mine for $105 it dropped for literally part of a day before going back to $120

Anyone had these and Samsung Galaxy Buds? Wondering if they are worth the upgrade

    • If you have Samsung, keep it and wait a while before upgrading. But if you wanna upgrade now, I recommend Jabra over Samsung buds

  • Swapped to the active version from my google pixel buds 2020.

Really enjoying them so far. More reliable connection (doesn't drop out constantly), and am actually liking the physical buttons (versus touch control) as it's easier to use while actually walking and running.

I am playing around with the fit as my right one needs to be pushed in every now and then. I do prefer the little ear wing tip from the PB2020 for a little more secure fit.

But overall very happy so far (3 weeks of use so far).

The PBs have been returned back to Telstra.

Purchased these late last year after looking for an overall system agnostic alternative to airpod pro.

Found them to be pretty trash, and can't use while bike riding as doesn't allow you to just have one(left) in, plus their equivalent transparency mode is destroyed if there is any small gust of wind.

Returned them a few days later, and purchased airpod pros.

May work for some people, but just thought I'd share my view that would pay the extra Airpods. But for $117 not a bad buy, just dont expect similar level to airpods.

    • Thanks, I’m thinking AirPod pros next for me (currently on nonpro airpod 2)

      • I moved from first gen airpods to Airpods Pro and never looked back.

Thought I wouldn't like the in ear feel, but Airpod pros in transparency feels like nothing is in my ear. These Jabra's were the complete opposite, horrible in ear feeling.

        • Good to know. I think my AirPods may be first gen actually.

Just waiting to catch a crazy price for AirPods Pro

          • @WhyAmICommenting: Agree. I got mine for $266 through an Officeworks price beat about over a year ago which was a steal I reckon. Seen a few offers around that mark.

  • AMAZING!!! Love the sound, the ANC, and even the app. Also have Galaxy Buds plus. These are now my main drivers!

  • Price gone down to $110 now.

    • +1

Holy cow this always does my head in! Amazing price.

      • Amazon just gave me a $10 credit. They are amazing.
