  • Thanks OP!

  • Got a very reasonable quote on this so thank you OP. The product review comments are not very promising. Has anybody got any feedback on this company for recent claims?

  • Thanks OP

  • Code worked and the timing couldn't have been better. Thanks saveingermany!
It's the same policy issuer as RAC travel insurance. I spent a while last night reading their PDS and when I checked these guys, I thought hang on this looks familiar. This policy is more than adequate for our 10 day Bali vacation next month.

    Woeful reviews on ProductReview

  • These guys used to be the ozbargain favourite, but their reviews have taken a massive hit as mentioned above.

Is it Covid related? Or is it the vocal minority, like trying to find a decently reviewed car or motorhome rental.

  • Check your credit card issuer -> Lots of them include travel insurance if you pay for your flights/accom on it…

    • Not sure those cover covid related events.

    • Agree - even 28 Degrees Credit Cards is currently offering a limited version free travel insurance

  • Also, there’s a lot of clauses on COVID-19 cover which is good to drill down on.

  • Bugger it. Saved $100 on a 2 person trip to us and Mexico in April. ~$305

    Definitely cheaper than worldnomad

  • Not working for me

  • Dang not working for me too

      Use TMMA20 for 20%

      • wow thanks!

      • Thanks that worked. Perhaps worth a new post or report to Mod.

Just did a quote and allianz was still cheaper even with the 20% discount.

  • This coupon is working again, seems like it was reactived up until 13/4/2022.

  • Really, the main thing is the Covid cover and how much they allow to get yourself back. One Travel ins company has in the PDS that if you get Covid and run over the period of your insurance you have to buy another policy.

How the hell does that work if you have any sort of incident overseas for which you would normally be covered, isn’t that the whole point of travel insurance?

    • if you get Covid and run over

Get covid and run over. Better buy a lottery ticket. You that lucky.

I am just yanking your chain by the way.

On a serious note. That sucks that they make you buy another policy.

    Still works

  • Code working again just now.
