No stock anywhere close to me and can't be delivered. Hope others have better luck.

lots of stores in VIC have it.

    • +1

Searched all stored in qld and there is no stock either.

  • Stock near me in Mornington VIC and Carrum Downs VIC, but I can't be bothered driving 15 minutes to get it.

but I can't be bothered driving 15 minutes to get it.

      Just ride your bike down…

    • Shows you don't want it enough, otherwise 30 minutes round trip is not a big deal for a good deal.

      • 30 mins, say 20km round trip. Fuel consumption of 10L/100km means 2L, so $4 for fuel on the trip. 40% increase on the bargain price.

        • You can’t rationalise finding a good bargain. It’s all about getting the things you want when you need it at a great price.

You won’t find any bargain if you start factoring in time and fuel cost, stress and anxiety.

  • Stock near me but I don't need this.

What's the advantage to this, rather than just using the bike stand on your bike?

    • +9

No advantage if you have that feature. Many road bikes don't have it, so this deal is quite appealing.

      • +7

This type of stand will hold the bike more vertically which can be useful if you're space constrained. It will also be more stable than a bike stand, since a small knock can push over a bike using a bike stand but it would take a lot more force to knock over a bike in this thing.

      • Always found that hilarious, 3-5k bikes… just places it on the ground

        • Only K-mart bikes have kickstands. That would add hundreds of grams!
Might as well have a basket on the front :)

And there is always a tree or post to lean against.

      What's the advantage to this,

You can use them to tie your dog's leash on.

Nice to have but unnecessary, I prefer to lean the bike against something, simple and effective.

This is a great bike stand - I've got two bought at full price from an online retailer and not Bunnings (I can't remember which site - might have been a seller on eBay).

No chance that the bike will topple over, and I use it to hold my road bike while I wash it and there is no rust on the bike stand. I've had them for ~3 years and wash the road bikes every few weeks.

It will comfortably fit the wide tyres (and heavier weight) of mountain bikes too. The stand height is adjustable so it can fit any wheel size.

$10 is a bargain for sure!

Looks like there is stock in Port Melbourne, Sunshine, West Footscray, Altona, and low stock at Hoppers Crossing (these are stores close to me in VIC).

I have 2 as well . It holds your bike up straight, without the kickstand lean. My heavy electric bike stands at the end of my garage and my car is parked almost touching it. Prior to having this I was regularly hitting the handle bar with my car . With the stand I can confidently know thati have put my bike is in that exact right spot so I can still fit my car in without damaging anything.

They might have pulled it off the site

Edit: I don't know what's going on, but the redir from OzB fails but the link is correct
