PSA: You can get an extra year of warranty on it if you register after your purchase: https://esatto.house/warranty

    Making it a 3-year warranty.

    • you should definitely get this since you are getting a huge saving on the dryer anyways.

Big fan of a heat pump but I've noticed that a lot of our clothes say do not tumble dry. Even kids school uniforms which would be the main reason to run it in winter. I wonder if the lower heat makes a difference vs a standard dryer

    • I've got this dryer and I like it better than my old Electrolux heat pump, drys more consistently. The only bad thing is that the only setting which seems to get your clothes dry is "auto" and also the driest cotton setting, otherwise it stops and the clothes are still wet. But on the auto setting it probably has the clothes dry after like an hour and a half but will keep running a bit unnecessarily longer.

Anything cotton except denim I put in it, ie towels, sheets (except the plastic mattress protector), shirts including school polos and t shirts, socks, cotton shorts and track pants and haven't wrecked any of those. Only thing I've wrecked was some stretchy pants, they shrunk. I don't put shirts with prints / writing on the front that you can feel in it either.

I've got one of the rubber mats from the Good Guys between my washer and dryer but I also put a ratchet strap around them both so I know it's never going to fall off. With just the rubber mat the dryer was moving around slightly on the washing machine spin cycle so I put the ratchet strap on.

  • One of the best purchases I've ever made. An added bonus is that it's so good with getting dog hear off clothes as well!

  • just one day not monitoring OZ, miss the deal I have been chasing for months. Sad.

  • I don't have a sink or arrangement of pipe near where I am planning to place it. How frequently does one have to empty the water reservoir? Thanks.

    • I empty our Bosch one after every time it's run. It's usually only half full but I don't think it's a good idea to leave the water sitting in there.
