      Vital to know!

      thanks I will avoid

  • Isn't this a bit pricey for only USB2.0?

It's about right, not a bad option if you just need to run a webcam and keyboard along with 4k 60Hz.

Usb 2 isn't that slow, your NBN is likely 4 times slower than usb2 throughput for example, so unless you need to connect hard disk it's a good cheap docking solution

      • Ah, I'm after a hub to see how editing photos on an iPad goes. Will be transferring a lot of data, so I'm after at least USB3, ideally data transfer through the USB-C but the price jumps up!

    • Older chipset which is DP 1.2 based. Not worth it unless for some reason, you have an older device with only 1 USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port and you must use it with a 4K/60hz display. Problem with this is that even if you don't, due to its lack of flexibility, you will still only get USB 2.0.

Need with 2 hdmis and VGA. Any suggestions welcome

  • "DON'T work on the Google Chrome Cast TV dongle."
Grammar police correction >> "Does not work on the Google Chrome Cast TV dongle"

  • Seems o only offers USB 2.0 ports (not USB 3.0) and 10/100Mbps Ethernet (not Gigabit)… If you don't need speed it might do the job for the price but unfortunately this one is not for me…
