    Good find

Love this case. Bought it March 2021 for 150 and it's worth it at this sale price. I got an all white build.

    • How is the airflow really and is there a lot of space to work with? E-ATX, large GPU's, 360mm AIO etc?

      • What processor are you planning to use that requires a 360mm AIO? I have a Lancool 215 with a 5800X, and a EVGA 280 CLC keeps it frosty. Plus 140mm fans move the same amount of air at lower noise levels than 120mm.

The Lancool 215 fit my triple fan 6700XT with almost 10cm spare (note that is with no front radiator, but really why would you front mount in these cases).

        • I am guessing i9-12900, or Threadripper?

        • 3700x for now but planning to upgrade to 5900x or 5950x in the next 3-4 months.

          • +1

@axlfan: Might as well wait for zen4 release. Zen3 cpu's should drop even if you didn't want to go the new chips

            • +2

@mandelbrot: Yeah that seems to be the logical choice. That way I can upgrade mobo(Hello PCIe 4.0), RAM(Hello DDR5) and CPU (Hello 5nm) in one shot.

              • +1

@axlfan: And GPU as well if the price/performance is right!

  • Bought the Mesh Performance from PLE when they had it for $95. Very happy with mine. Great price for the RGB version.

    • For those wondering the difference: different fan config, not sure if RGB ones are PWM (adjustable speed) or not.

Both cases are USB 3.0 front ports, with one USB-C port. CPU, GPU and PSU clearances are all good.

      • +1

I have this case. Run don't walk to buy this at $100! This or the Corsair 4000D Airflow have been my favourite cases to build in the last year. FYI The stock RGB fans in the Lancool II are not PWM by the way.

        • +1

Yeah then that would be a skip for me if people already have a decent mesh case. USB 4 and PWM fans would be what I'm personally seeking.

Loving that it's such a competitive market for good quality cases though, as a lot of people wind up swapping out parts just because they've been cooking due to bad airflow compounded by dust.

          • @jasswolf: I just swapped out the stock fans with Uni fans but you could use then with a AIO in push/pull config if you wanted. I buy a lot of used PC components and some of the stuff I get is full of dust, cat hair, smoke/vape residue, you name it. Some people treat a PC like a PlayStation or Xbox and carry out no maintenance and wonder when their PC crashes or sounds like a jet taking off.

      • with one USB-C port

Need to buy the cable to add it https://lian-li.com/product/lancool-ii-4x/

        • no… u dont?

          • @abjsdhasehasee: The case doesn't come with the port…

          • @abjsdhasehasee: If you want the front USB C to work then you definitely need to buy the cable. It's a pain in the ass to install if you're using a big front intake AIO so make sure to install the cable first.

Also note that the top radiator+fans space won't support a thicker than median radiator (eg arctic liquid freezer II) as it'll contact the RAM, forcing you front mount it.

  • +2

Purchased last year in white, great case for temps but does get quite dusty on the front as there is so much airflow. My only issue with the white version is that the interior isn't white like the corsairs.

    • Yeah thats just a personal taste thing. Personally I like the contrast you get with the black.

  • I've got the Corsair 220T and i hate it - Seriously considering buying this, but really cannot be bothered moving everything out of my current build.

    • +1

      Buy now regret later

      • +1

You've convinced me, worst case I'll use it for a future build

        • mind to explain what make you hate 220t?
          I thought it's a good case except it's a bit tiny?

          • @OMGJL: Yep that's pretty much what I hate about it lol. I had a few issues with things like the usb front panel cable not being long enough and too stiff when the port is at the bottom of the motherboard. Ended up breaking the pins because i couldnt get the cable in straight. And just general cable management room at the back of the case causing the back to buldge a little.

I also had the rgb on the fans fail and getting a fan replaced through warranty with Corsair took 6 months as I had to argue with them to not send a whole case back or justify to them that sending one fan to Taiwan was not economically viable. I ended up not responding to them and one day a 3 pack of fans showed up in the mail.

  • Love this case . Got white one for $150 . For $99 delivered really good price .

  • Great case, I have the nonRBG black and it's great. Highly recommended.

  • +1

Thanks OP. This will kick start my first PC build. Hopefully I will get everything sorted by Christmas.

  • Crazy good price for the performance. It's not oversized for a mid tower yet has enough space for all your stuff, and some of the best airflow available.

  • +1

Gotta love the checkout page where they have two blokes cheered you and pop the confetti …

  • I cant decide which colour

    • Get a flower with petals, and pluck one by one.

  • preety good case, just tape the bottom up or 3d print the fix

and replace the fans with 4 p12 and 4 p14

  • Thanks OP. Been waiting ages for this \m/

  • Great deal. Thanks OP. What fans would people recommend for adding for exhaust? Looking to keep the stock front fans.

  • +1

I have this case, arguably the best price for performance case out there, one that looks good n is highly practical in its build.

  • My motherboard doesn't have an ARGB header. Is there anyway to get the rgb to work without the header?

    • +1

Case seems to have its own controller built in, but I'd be more concerned with fan adjustability.

  • ok bought one. can finally put case on desk now coming from a 800D

  • +1

Anyone know how this case compares to the Lian Li 215 Mesh?
    https://www.pccasegear.com/products/57310/lian-li-lancool-21…

    • +1

I had the 215 and it felt really cheaply made. The front fans were also very loud and the RGB on them looked pretty washed and awful. Would not recommend it to anyone considering it's absurd price.

    • +1

the bigger, stronger, faster, cooler, sleeker, brother.

    • +1

This Mesh II is a higher level case, compared to the 215 Mesh which is more budget oriented.

      • Thanks guys. Got a white one

  • Thank you ,Grabbed the white one , will match the RTX3080 Vision nicely .

  • Get white. Dust is less obvious

  • +1

Bought - thanks OP. I hope it would be an upgrade from my Meshify C case (I am looking for the USB-C front port)

Does anybody know how hard it would be to remove the included RGB fans? (As I understand they are connected with the front I/O buttons)?
I would love to use my Noctua and Arctic P12 fans instead of these included RGB fans

    • +1

Very easy - you can easily just unplug the fans and hide the cables away (what I currently have done). Otherwise you could unscrew the front I/O and unplug the RGB cables and remove them.

  • +1

Brilliant case and cannot beat this price. Alas I cannot get it as I want a full white case and at least 140mm fans up front.

Was looking long and hard for a new mid tower/full size case but will not get this as its kinda similar to my Antec GS 1200, has the black insides and has just the 120mm fans on front.

Thinking of the Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic but its almost double this cost and has no fans. But hoping someone may drop prices on it during this sale.

    • +3

Have you considered the new 011 Air Mini White? it has everything you're looking for.

      • +1

        Yes absolutely.
However, I have an ATX motherboard and the current mid tower itself is so cramped and therefore looking to get a bigger case. I think this will be cramped as well.
Also need support for 360mm AIO.

        • +2

Corsair 5000D seems like a good option here

          • +1

@xavi46: Defintiely in my top 4 choice. Also considering the outlier MetallicGear Neo Qube Case White. But all are at RRP now unless am missing something.

            • +3

@axlfan: I am looking at the fractal torrent atm. Have you considered it? Not to sure whether 360mm AIO is suitable on it.

        • +1

Doesn't this case support 360mm AIO?

          • @mandelbrot: I hope so because thats what i have

            • @mitcheo: yes, only front mounted. if you wanna top mount, then cancel your order and wait for lancool iii mesh which will be the mother of all cases

literally can put 9999 fans all 140s

              • @abjsdhasehasee: This is one area where the cheaper 215 Mesh has over this more expensive II Mesh. The 215 can support up to 280mm radiator at the top, but this II can only support up to 240mm.

                • @edfoo: you 'can' fit a 280

                  • @abjsdhasehasee: Does the II Mesh can fit a 280mm radiator at the top? The spec says only 240mm. You have to fit the 280mm radiator at the front.

                    • @edfoo: u 'can' with some mobos, with some radiators.

ive seen some people sand down their mobo 'heatsinks' to fit it at the top

                      • @abjsdhasehasee: LOL, I guess modding with an angle grinder, you can virtually fit anything in a case.

  • Got the non-rgb version love it. Would get another for my other build if they had the non rgb.

    Definitely recommend it.

  • would be nice to have the little glass window to show power draw on PDU

  • it says out of stock in eastern states and not available even though we can checkout and pay?

    • I would give it a try they will probably honour it

    • I placed the order anyway, all good so far. Order status still in ln processing though.

  • The case is good. I love hinged doors and this has two! The glass on back side adds depth to the usual boring sheet of metal. Can show off your ssds or cabling if daring to take the cover plates off.

    It's roomy inside.

But the front a-rgb fans suck. They're not PWM. The effects are average and they're noisy. Making an audible ticking sound. I replaced mine with artic p12s argb and very happy now.

  • +1

for a smaller mATX build these are great, with the right fans you'll have tiny, cool and quiet system and still as powerful as you want it

    https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/cases/micro-atx/74815-ss…

just have to be careful with really fat GPUs, if your motherboard pushes the pci-e down to the 2nd slot on the case (common with cheaper matx motherboard) you'll be limited to a 2 slot GPU and a touch over - either that or you can get a sfx-l power supply

  • +3

Called up and confirmed they just dont have it in stock in VIC but instead will be shipping from WA. Takes about a 1-2 weeks extra

  • Has anyones actually arrived? my tracking finally started working saying min 2 weeks up to 3, i questioned PLE and they generically blamed the weather

    • +1

Just got mine this morning - Shes pretty bloody big.

    • Yeah arrived last Friday. Such a breeze to build in. Slapped in some arctic P12s and P14s. Taped up the void at the bottom of the front panel to ensure air goes through the mesh.1 fan had a defect but PLE will sort it out.

      • Just wondering if you know if you can easily remove the front case fans? I've got a bunch of Corsair fans and no addressable RGB on the mobo and I want to be able to manage the RGB via software

I assume they just connect to a controller at the front that can be removed?

        • Of course, I mean surely, these front fans can be unscrewed; if I recall correctly they looked like the standard self-tapping aka fan plastic eating screws - hate 'em. But make no mistake, I think it was Gamers Nexus in their case test and comparisons that proved they are surprisingly great, stock fans, and might I add addressable via Aura RGB headers on one's compatible mainboard - they also plug into the fixed (?) cables draping from the case front hub, the top circuit board with its respective buttons (and USB ports). They are RGB mode controllable via said top panel buttons at the same time (in one specific mode) as software such as OpenRGB.

Check 'em out, all-the-colours in their default mode. The other fans are Corsair LL120 RGB.

      • Did PLE just send you a new Lian Li fan? I'm curious as I purchased this case for a future build.

        • I'm in WA, so I simply took the faulty fan to a store and the staff exchanged it for a working fan. I did email them beforehand with the problem and this is what they instructed me to do.

  • Mine arrived yesterday, Sydney.

Having little to no idea what I was doing it took about about 3 hours to move all the stuff from my old PC box to this one. 2 out of the 3 front fans working, doh!.
Reluctant to pull it apart to diagnose a simple problem of 1 wrong wire plugged into the wrong spot. Good news is all the lights work, plus all the buttons on the front! Pretty stoked I got 90% of it right!

Note to self: Pay someone who knows what they're doing next time.

    • +1

      What a tool…

Just kidding. At least you gave it a go and hopefully learnt something from it.

  • Great case. if anyone would a 3d printed mesh front panel plug to fix the hole i can supply them for $12 shipped

    • Just tape it with gorilla tape or something, does the job and since it's at the bottom you can't see it

      • these are mesh

        • Ooooh sorry misunderstood, yeah that would be alright
