These are back in stock for the great low price of $1.00 a can (Min 3 Cans). Currently on special for $1.95 at coles and ~$3.00 a can at international sweet shops hence its a great deal.

What is Vimto: Vimto is a soft drink sold in the United Kingdom. It was first manufactured as a health tonic in cordial form, then decades later as a carbonated drink. It contains the juice of grapes, raspberries and blackcurrants, flavoured with herbs and spices. The original recipe was invented in 1908 by John Noel Nichols. Nichols grew up in the Scottish town of Shortridge.

Ingredients: Carbonated Water, Sugar, Mixed Fruit Juices from Concentrate 3% (Grape, Blackcurrant, Raspberry), Acid (Citric Acid), Vimto Flavouring (Including Natural Extracts of Fruits, Herbs, Barley Malt and Spices), Colouring Food (Concentrates of Carrot, Hibiscus), Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate), Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid), Flavourings, Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame K)

Side Note: The amazon variety is manufactured in Pakistan under licence from the UK. I have had both and they are almost the same. The Pakistan made version seem to be a tiny fraction less sweet than the UK version, but most people won't notice the difference. For those that haven't tried it, the closet thing we have in taste, would be a much less sweetened version of Ribena (But fizzy).

Best served chilled

For those with a Soda Stream Etc maybe find it better value by the concentrate $5.70/L and make their own.

    Looks like OOS

    • Thanks for letter me know. The mods were too quick (~1.5min) . This was just back in stock yesterday for the first time in over a month 😭. Gathering many other Brits also brought the max amount (20 cans) per transaction.

Quality sugar water with 10ml of juice extract with 35g (almost 10 teaspoons of sugar) in each can.

This shouldn’t be on anyones shopping list.

    • So much less than Coke, sounds good to me

      • 35g sugar in 250mL is 14g/100mL - pretty sure Coke is less than that?

        • A can of coke is 250ml now?

          stingy bastards.

Don't know where you're getting the high sugar content?

Just looked at a can today when in local spudshed, used to love this stuff as a kid, and it was only 4.6g per 100ml on the nutrition panel..

  • Damnit. I love this junk.

I always miss stuff like this from home. Then it arrives and the rose tinted glasses don't cover up how trash it is.

Wake me up when we can get a £1 ASDA cheese and onion sandwich though. Those things are god tier.

Meh, monster munch for the win

      • Pickled onion or beef?

        • tricky question, but i would have to go with the classic pickled onion. Thinking about it Mc Coys used to be good. Not sure if there are still around though

  • Pretty sure vimto is the same as Portello drink in Oz
