Wanted to make use of a recent deal - $325 for Amazon, price beat by Officeworks to $308.75. Of course I didn't check the current price, nor remembered the policy. As Amazon's price was the same as Officeworks, they only offered to match.
After a few perfect moments of embarrassment, "we don't match mydeal.com.au, we don't match eBay even if they are an Australian company", old faithful Umart had what I needed.
For the specific deal - buying from Umart - checked postage to Perth (other side of the country from Umart) - $5 Standard / $10 Express. But truly, why do that when you can get them at a lot of Officeworks stores - with a no-questions-asked return policy!
Sadly I made use of this because it didn't live up to my hopes. I still recommend them for most people who don't want to connect their headphones to six different devices, and pays way too much attention to the audio cancelling and microphone quality. They've got a great mic, but they cancel nowhere near as well as others. I grumble at Sony most days for including the same crappy microphone in both the WH-1000XM3 and XM4. I want my conversations recorded without my knowledge at high fidelity - is that so much to ask?
To join the inevitable comments. I remember helping a then-lover to get a pair of Pros from Officeworks, price matched to ~$280 back in mid-2020. Ah, warm memories.
