  • Tempting, need a new powerbank as my last one just blew up… trouble is, it was a Xiaomi one, so slightly put off by the experience…

May just get another Anko one.

    • my last one just blew up

      Surely not literally?

        Well, not explosively.

I suspect the cells are fine, but the control board let out the magic smoke.

Been a long time since I saw a xiaomi power bank on sale. Thank you

I've been using this exact model for a few years. Been very good. It charges my S22 Ultra at 25W, and also my Surface Pro 6 at 45W.

    • This charges my macbook air (old version, had to get a USB C converter) but does a fine job

  • Does this work with NINTENDO Switch?

    • Yes

      • Thanks!

  • Alternative that's a bit more expensive but can output more watts and has more capacity https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-26800-mah-powerbank-118w-…

    • Wow from the pics it's still using li-ion and not lipos.

    • But Kogan, so beware!

  • Had it since release, it’s never skipped a beat.

  • Whats shipping time typically like with Banggood?

I need one for my holiday thats 4 weeks away

    • even though they say delivery is around april it should be sooner from my personal experience with them anyway.

  • Thanks, OP. got one
Can anyone comment on whether I can take this on an airplane?

Yep anything under 100Wh can be taken onboard, while anything 100Wh-160Wh requires airline approval. Virgin you declare at check-in, Jetstar/Qantas requires a form online and covers you for 12 months IIRC.

This power bank however is 74Wh and will have it printed on the bottom if an overzealous security guard checks so it's fine.

        perfect. thank you

  • They still haven't shipped my order. New estimated shipping is 6th May?

    • Have you received it yet?? Mine is still in transit and tracking is not updating since it shipped out.

      • Not even shipped, unfortunately
