Here is a very interesting keyboard with a roller bar from Epomaker who make a lot of brands. Personally I prefer Epomaker over Keychron, as they are heavier, sturdier and better quality.
Red and Black NON hotswap versions are $102.99 before discount. At $82.39 its a very good deal if you aren't going to swap out switches. Even better getting from Amazon, since you can return it if you don't like it.
Red hotswap is $106.39 after discount which is still very good value. Other hotswap colour are more expensive

87 Keys
Roller Button Control !!!!!! (I miss this since I sold off my Corsair). I prefer roller over a knob.
Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless (has been updated)
RGB Backlit
Type C Cable
2000mAh Battery
Adjustable feet
NKRO

Supports Android, Windows and MAC

Curious to know what's weird about this layout? it's a TKL

Interesting with the roller bar. Don't see that often. Corrected the description

  • How does the black switch feel compares to brown switch?

    • +2

blacks are a relatively heavy linear switch, browns are a lighter tactile switch

I don't know about this brand, but I've tried two keychron boards and they were both extremely good quality. Good weight, very solid frame, and good switches. Their reds/linear are truly brilliant - so much so they converted me to linear (I think, maybe too soon to tell). I think i may prefer the logitech romer-g to the keychron brown/tactile, as the keychron ones are quite treble-y/clacky.

Keychron support is super fast too. I emailed them about a firmware update and they got back to me within a day.

Keychron and Corsair are the only keyboards I have sold so far. So far have collected Parallel Limited Portal (Very good but way over priced), Akko (new models are extremely good quality with sound dampening foam, lubed stabs etc They have really upped the game), Skyloong (an Epomaker brand, just got their GK68XS with split space bar. Very good) , Glorious, Anne Pro 2, Womier, Corsair and some unknown random boards lol Think you will be pleasantly surprised when you try some of the other brands vs the Keychron

  • Looks nice, Iā€™d miss numpad though sigh

The Epomaker/Skyloong Hotswappable Gk21s numpad is very good. You can pick it up off Aliexpress. Just make sure its not the optical gateron version as you wont be able to use mechanical switches. I also bought the cheaper non hotswap versions and they all turned out to be hotswap as well!

@Sammyboy: hope you get that perfect thocc

You could go for the Keychron K4v2 which is 96% or the Iqunix F96.

I have the K4v2 and realised I don't really use the numpad that much.

Thanks OP. Was looking at these for ages and finally bit the bullet with the 20% discount for the hot-swappable red..

What does the roller thing do?

    • "Innovative Roller Button Control. The keyboard is designed with a roller button in between to control volume and lights to facilitate operation."

I prefer keyboards with QMK / VIA, it's open source and highly customisable.
Epomaker has good hardware but the software is terrible, confusing and lacking in functionalities, wish they used QMK and regret boards purchased from them for this reason.

  • Thanks OP, ordered. Cheap mechanical with iOS support and its wireless, yes please.

Just got the keyboard delivered! An usual Amazon delivery is amazing. The keyboard is very solid and sturdy. Very nice weight to it. Much heavier and thicker case than the Keychron. Keycaps are unlubed so a little loud and scratchy. I ordered the red. Its a 3 pin PCB board. The switch is a 3 pin red linear Huano switch. I lubed up a switch with 205g0 and it sounds and feels (lol) much better. Overall very impressed by the quality. The volume roller is nice to have back again too. If you were planning on changing switches then could be a pain being 3 pin and cutting the 2 plastic pins, but there are still 3 pin switches from Glorious and Gateron widely available.

Also on the manual and box it says it is bluetooth 5.0, not 3 as listed on Amazon. Im guessing this keyboard has been updated since initial release.

Looking at specs the Keychron K1 weighs 650g. This Ajazz/Epomaker board weighs in at 890g

    • Which one did you end up getting?

I'm considering the brown non-hotswappable version for combination of work and gaming as I don't really intend on modding much (but also worry about failing switches).

Got the red hotswap. You can still lube the non-hotswap a bit sticking a brush down the sides. If a switch fails within warranty period you can send back to Amazon anyway.

        • Cool cheers!
